At the risk of sounding racist (Hey, I voted for Obama, OK)... why do so many black politicians break the law, steal, and commit fraud? Young black Americans all over this country are in dire need of healthy role models..... And, this is what they get? Throw the book at her!

    Disgusting, but not unexpected!

I thought Pelosi and Obama were going to "clean-up" Congress. I guess when it's their own members who are caught cheating America it's 'ok' to look the other way.

Where is outrage over Rangel and Waters? Why haven't they been ordered to resign immediately by Dem leadership?

I believed in Obama and the the vision during the 2008 campaign. Thus far, only broken promises, back room deals, and one disaster after another.

Three more months and they'll get the message

Let's hope she has the wisdom to negotiate a censure and apologize, rather than giving the GOP a campaign issue. Of course, the specter of the GOP attacking a black woman over fairly trivial ethics violations may backfire on them. The fact that the Republicans won't even consider backlash shows how clueless they are.

Look Mrs. Walter, I heard you on the radio telling people of color how all of a sudden more and more Black Congressional are coming under-fire. That may or may not be true, but if you were doing the right thing and working for your constituent instead of trying to line your pockets or the pockets of close friends. Then maybe, as a brown man I could support your claim. This happens to many times, both white and brown congress people get into office and they have another agenda. Look you were elected by the people and for the people. Shouldn't your duties as a congresswoman to make sure you support you people in every aspect?

That's what's wrong with this country, the people in Congress and in the House are there for the wrong reason and purpose. All the blame should never fall on the President of the US. Because it's Congress that helps propose and make the laws of this land. So I say to all in Congress and she's not the only one at fault. There are plenty of you who's doing or have doing similar allegation she's face now. But I say to you all, start doing the Right Thing otherwise, the people of this country will and should vote your asses OUT OF OFFICE.

If someone really wanted to dig, I am sure this idiot would be doing a perp walk in to Federal prison. Believe me, they are just scratching the surface of the iceberg. The problem is this is a looney woman and everyone is scared to death of her.

I am a staunch Democrat, but I hate when any party speaks out of both sides of their mouthes. The democrats said they would clean up the corruption in congress yet here we have another case of it. Fry her, bake her, and get her to resign along with C. Rangel. Let us Democrats prove we can kick our own out of office and not just blame the Republicans for all of the corruption.

I just looked up the words 'ethical' and 'unethical', after thinking that I might not have a good understanding of the meaning of those words. While I do not condone what Maxine Waters alledgedly did regarding the bank. I feel, based upon my findings that nearly the entire Congress membership could be shown to be 'unethical' to some degree. The tone of the charges against Maxine Waters comes no where close to the degree of unethical behavior currently in action. I question as well the US Supreme Court Judges. Their recent ruling regarding compaign contributions is the epitome of unethical conduct. The GOP-Tea Party of unethical conduct as well. That's my opinion, for what it's worth. What about the lobbies and special interest spending to influence the vote? Shouldn't that be considered when speaking of ethics?
