Good for Nancy Pelosi for promising to drain the swamp, and to the dems for following through. As a Dem, I don't care what your political flavor is. If there is enough evidence to warrant an investigation/indictment, then by all means, do it! The rethugliban will of course, use this story as an in to bash dems, forgetting that THEY have more than their share of ethically challenged House/Senate members. The difference between them and the dems though is, as we see, the dems do something about it. The rethugliban whine, cry, deny, blame the "librul" media and point to the dems while shouting, "They did it too!"

We've given politicians our trust and consequently, they live the lives of the elite. When they betray us, they deserve harsh and swift punishment. Republican or Democrat, when they're dishonest we must flush them like the feces they've become. The details of her guilt or innocence should be publicized – as an example or lesson to the other 500 hogs at the trough.

most polititions are only moderately incompetent, greedy, wasteful and criminal when they are first elected. The longer they are in, the better they get at each of these.
    WE NEED TERM LIMITS!

If either one of these self serving egomaniacs gave a damn about the Democratic Party, they would resign today.

Although I'm dissappointed in these ethics charges, at least she only has 3 charges and not 13. I think she'll be cleared of all 3. But still, where is the coverage of SEN. ENSIGN????

This is the typical Republican slander when they have committed so many acts of corruption, adultery, and gay bashing will being gay themselves.

Maxine Waters is an outstanding member of Congress and of the highest integrity. The Fed always steps in when a bank is in trouble and she may have just alerted the proper person this bank was going to need help.

How convienent for these "sudden" fake ethics charges to appear just as we are entering the mid-term elections. Republicans will stoop to anything since they are so desperate with little grassroots support.

Republicans are destroyers and have solutions for NOTHING. They have voted against the People and for the abusive corporations every single time. Be careful with your vote. A vote for a Republican is a vote for a return to Bush policies, elimination of Social Security and Medicare, no job creation plans, no push for stopping businesses from outsourcing our jobs overseas, more soldiers to be sent to Afghanistan, and tax cuts for the rich that will add 4 Trillion to the deficit. Republicans are liars and hypocrites and will say anything to fool you into voting for them. Do not trust any of them. What have they done for YOU this year and in the previous Bush years? NOTHING.

Vote for Democrats if you want America to keep recovering, for jobs to keep increasing every month, and no more wars. Democrats are the Party of the People. They passed 200 laws for YOUR benefits this year alone and Republicans voted NO 200 times. It had nothing to do with policy. It was a game to them to hope for our failure. They are unAmerican and dangerous to our future.

  14. Take America Back: from Texas

We have come to a place in the leadership of our nation where some believe there are 4 criteria to be met to become "Above Reproach":

    1. Black
    2. Liberal
    3. Democrat
    4. A Black Liberal Democrat President or Congress person/Senator

Famous last words from a former Liberal Democrat....."What is.......is"?

Are we EVER gonna learn that letting ANYONE serve dozens of consecutive terms in any political forum makes them think they can do whatever they want and no one will be watching???? And after they've been caught, do you not wonder HOW MUCH AND HOW LONG they've been dishonoring our trust????

TERM LIMITS, PLEASE PEOPLE! NO MORE THAN 2 TERMS FOR ANYONE, or else they'll become POLLUTED with power and wealth from their dirty deals... by doing nothing, we change NOTHING, and as far as I'm concerned– WE DESERVE TO BE SHAFTED FOR BEING SO STOOOOPIDLY TRUSTING.

Another crooked AA using the built in card to their supposed advantage even though there are Dems on the panel....

That POS Rangel trying to blame Republicans as he "really wanted to make a deal" when EVERYONE on his side including himself has said otherwise.

    LIAR and a CROOK.

Republicans SAY or DO nothing, let them screw themselves over and watch it happen.

    See you in November.

This is an example of what we get when there are no term limits. We get career politicians who are less concerned with the the welfare of the country and its people, than they are with enriching themselves. They get used to having their way and the power associated with their position. They become callous and so enured in their position, that they don't fear the repercussions of being caught with their hands in someone elses cookie jar. I don't believe any of them really know what is good for this country or its people. Any legislation they come up with may sound good, but in the long run, the American people are stuck paying for it. If it doesn't benefit all, it should benefit none. These career politicians only want to leave there mark, bad or good on our history. Unfortunately, there is more bad than good. There should be no lobbying by special interests and no preferred treatment . That's my say.

In 10 terms, she hasn't made any impact on her district. We live in Westchester and we never hear from her. Now, she is sending pro-Waters literature in the mail at taxpayers' expense.
