Quayle son gets harsh on Obama

Quayle is out with a dramatic new ad bashing Obama.

Quayle is out with a dramatic new ad bashing Obama.

(CNN) – Ben Quayle, the son of former Vice President Dan Quayle who is seeking a House seat in Arizona, is making a splash with a new campaign ad in which he looks straight into the camera and declares, "Barack Obama is the worst president in history."

"My generation will inherit a weakened country," Quayle also says solemnly in the new 30-second spot. "Drug cartels in Mexico, tax cartels in DC. What's happened to America? I love Arizona. I was raised right. Someone needs to go to Washington and knock the hell out of the place."

Quayle, the 33-year-old son of the former vice president, is one of 10 Republicans seeking the GOP nomination for the third district House seat of retiring Rep. John Shadegg. The Republican-leaning district primarily encompasses Phoenix and its surrounding suburbs.

Quayle recently ran into controversy after admitting to having posted on the controversial website four years ago. The racy website features scantily clad women and focuses on profiling the Scottsdale nightclub scene. Quayle told a local TV station Tuesday he posted on the website on behalf of a friend to "drive some traffic."

The primary will be held on August 24.

George W Bush was the defacto "worst preident" in US history. Please dont try to re-write it while we can still remember. It means you think we are stupid. Do you think we are stupid? Well do ya....punk?

The drug cartels in Mexico are Obama's fault? The massive tax cuts for the richest Americans and for Corporations and the subsequent financial melt-down are Obama's fault? Are you insane or just as dumb as your father?

OMG, how profound is that statement coming from a Quayle. The covey of quail in my back yard have more common sense. Will the Republican's ever stop? His dad was the most ridiculed VP in history and no one will ever top Bush as the worse, I didn't accomplish anything president. Oh, except Mission Accomplished in Iraq. That was almost as stupid as spelling potato wrong. Good luck Ben, you're going to need it.

    TALK is CHEAP!

IF, and this will only happen if the earth really is actually flat; this blow hard were ever to get elected to SWAMPLAND, he would, assuming his IQ is at least in double digits, just begin to understand how difficult it is to actually CHANGE anything in SWAMPLAND!

The nation wants CHANGE! However, the nation FEARS CHANGE and all the uncertainties that CHANGE brings with it; we all crave the “same old”, “same old”, every day because it makes us FEEL stable and the world predictable, even if it really is NOT: That is why we all secretly love the STATUS QUO!

That, plus the fact that corporations are extremely happy, comfortable and very, very profitable [GREED] with just the way things are now and they actually CONTROL the NATION and SWAMPLAND with their money and powerful connections and have for decades: Americans are just too busy putting food on the table for their family, too complacent, too obedient to powerful authorities and in may cases just feel powerless to bring about any meaningful change; then too, many are just too ignorant to even get involved in this corrupt mess: when 50% of those eligible to vote, do not even bother, AMERICA HAS A REAL SYSTEMIC PROBLEM!

It is my sense, and I do NOT support President Obama's Immigration or war policies, that this fine and honorable young man s rapidly becoming one of the very best President's that this country will ever have...

Your generation will inherit a weekend country not because of Obama, but because of what his predesessors did to this country, if you can't figure that out, then you are even more stuped than your father who couldn't even spell potatoes when he was a V.P., never in the history of this country has there been a president who has worj=ked so hard and passed so many legislations, get that smart pants.

Obviously, he's appealing to all the Obama haters out there to try and generate support. I think the end result is that he'll end up at the bottom of the dogpile when it's all over.

Ben Quayle is right about Washington, most of them need to be knocked out of office; but the jury is still out on Obama. He may be getting there, but I still give the nod to Jimmy Carter at this point.

I needed a good laugh...this from the man whose father, Dan Quayle, was about the most ignorant and dimwitted V.P. and politician to ever step foot in Washington? Then Bennie is outed with his posts (he denied and then admitted when overwhelming evidence was produced) and his hilarious attempt to gloss over it...they didn't even address the stupidity hereditary?

This is pure, unadulterate ignorance. I feel sick at heart if anyone votes for someone who makes statements like this without the knowledge to back it up. Does anyone realize that this is the kind of stupidity that makes it to D.C. and then further messes affairs up because said person has no knowledge of the history of the government. One president doesn't cause all the problems, it is a culmination of many.

He is correct and I know its a hard pill for Dem's to swallow. Obama is good at two things – scape-goating and politicing. The American public turns out is not interested in the Keynesian model and there is little chance of him finding vindication. Even if the GOP wins in November there is little evidence he can be as maleable as Clinton to move to center and turn chicken sh@t into chicken salad.

The worst president in the history of the USA is Barack Obama. The second worst presdent in history was Jimmy Carter. The third worst president in history was George W Bush. I 100% agree that Bush was an absolutely awful president. However, how can you people sit here and actually say with a straight face that Obama is a good president? It makes all of you look like idiots. Just because Bush was not a good president, doesn't all of the sudden make his successor a good president. The reason behind so many American's arguments are so baseless, that it worries me for the future intelligence of this country. I hope you all aren't reproducing with this stupid rhetoric.

Time will prove him wrong, Presiden Obama is trying to keep all his promises to us, he cares for us, has brains, and is more of a Christian than those on the far right who spew so much hate and lies.

Let's not forget, ONCE AGAIN, that it was Bush who messed up this country. Obama inherited a disaster, he didn't create it. So shut up Quayle, you jerk.

I say potato you say potatoe!!!! Again some silly Republicans trying to get us to forget George Bush and Dan Quayle and blame it on a decent man who is trying to fix a country those 2 made worse.

And whom did young Ben use as his "worst" benchmark? His father? Well he certainly knew how to grab attention, I'll give him credit for that.

OMG is this guy for real??? No president in the last 100 years can compare to the incompetency of the GWB years! Of course with his lineage I wouldn't expect young master Quayle to know much about history. Your generation will indeed inherit a weakened country, but it won't be due to President Obama's actions. Waging two wars, one of them probably illegal, while simultaneously cutting taxes, is a recipe for disaster. Add to that the fact that there was no clear enemy to attack, no clear objective we wanted to achieve, and no clear exit strategy, and it's near impossible to win either of these wars. I don't think we will know if we did win or lose when these wars finally end. Learn a little about American history before running off at the mouth Mr. Quayle!

This doofus has the same room-temperature IQ as his father. Future historians will determine who the worst president was. Prediction: It won't actually be George W. Bush as there were at least five worse in our nation's history. But when you combine him with Dick Cheney, there can be no disputing that that combo is the worst Pres/VP team in our history. President Obama has had has hands full mending the ills generated by the ineptitude of his predecessors.

Did he look in to his dad's face and say "You were the worst Vice-President in history"? Barack Obama has done more for this country in less than two years than most Presidents can claim. Not to mention that the tax cuts for all brackets is the lowest it has been since the 40's not to mention the rich (including this dope) have enjoyed the biggest tax cuts ever.
