Palin to Dr. Laura: 'Don't retreat'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2010/images/08/19/art.palintweet.0818t.twitter.jpg caption =" Sarah Palin is standing behind Dr. Laura Schlessinger."](CNN) - Embattled radio talk show host Dr. Laura Schlessinger, who earlier this week announced she was ending her radio show, is finding an ally in Sarah Palin.

A day after Schlessinger told CNN's Larry King she was ending her show amid controversy over her repeated use of the N-word during an on-air conversation, Palin tweeted, "don't retreat...reload!"

"Dr.Laura:don't retreat...reload! (Steps aside bc her 1st Amend.rights ceased 2exist thx 2activists trying 2silence"isn't American, not fair")" Palin wrote on Twitter Wednesday night.

"Dr.Laura=even more powerful & effective w/out the shackles, so watch out Constitutional obstructionists. And b thankful 4 her voice,America!," Palin added in a second tweet.

National furor erupted when Schlessinger used the N-word 11 times in five minutes during an August 10 call with an African-American woman who was seeking advice on how to deal with racist comments from her white husband's friends and relatives. The conversation evolved into a discussion on whether it's appropriate to use the word ever, with Schlessinger arguing it's used on HBO and by black comedians.

Schlessinger apologized the following day, saying, "I was attempting to make a philosophical point, and I articulated the N-word all the way out - more than one time. And that was wrong. I'll say it again - that was wrong."

While Schlessinger told King on Tuesday that she was still "regretful" over the incident, she said she feels her freedom of speech rights "have been usurped by angry, hateful groups who don't want to debate - they want to eliminate."

I don't think that anyone has infringed upon Schlessinger's rights, she exposed her true self.. period, what about the rights of the caller, moving forward we all know who the dr. is, if she or anyone else chooses to use the n word, they do at their own risk, some people may let you get away with it, but some people won't, when black people use the word it's to take the power out of the word, it's almost and endearing term, it will never be perceived as that from a white person, when was the last time you heard the term honkey, from anyone black or white? F.Y.I...the definition of the n word is someone who's dumb and ignorant, it doesn't say anything about color, creed or nationality, so there are n's in every nationality.

If you ever needed evidence that this woman is certifably nuts, this is it. No one questions anyone's first amendment rights, but common sense should dictate when it comes to matters of race, religion, sexual orientation, etc. Both Sarah and Laura need to be admitted to the nearest mental health facility for in-patient treatment until they learn that free speech comes at a price and their racist, bigoted, insane points of view are not going to be tolerated!
