All the Republicans need do is stick to what they have been saying. Keep taxes low, Create confidence in the future of the economy, Secure the border cut government spending which is out of control, Do something about entitlements which cannot be sustained or we go broke, Constitutional principals. And MEAN it, I am tired of RINO'S like John McCain who just talk the talk and not walk the walk.

They have a long way to go. The most important thing is that they have to have some solutions. All they have done for the past two years is whine, complain, obstruct, and flat-out lie. They haven't offered one comprehensive idea or solution other than their tired old lines that got the country into the mess it's in right now.

Oh, getting some candidates with more than a ground-floor IQ wouldn't hurt either.

If the GOP just shows up on the ballot, they get my vote –anything rather than more tax, spend, and pork by the Dems and President Teleprompter/

Do you think they'll appear insincere if they go for a cosmetic makeover because it's election time?
Do you think many are swayed by the "logic" of McConnell?
Do they think we'll believe what they say in spite of what they do?
    Probably not.

The biggest thing is just fight to get rid of these corrupt, union toadies that are currently in Congress and work for productive taxpayers not lazy, bloated, corrupt liberal infested bureaucracies.

Trouble is, Republicans know very well that if they follow any of this advice they will lose their base of ignorant, racist, hyperreligious, terrified hate-mongers. After working so hard to bring these debased people out of the closet and convince them that the Republicans are their party, they would be foolish to throw it all away be sounding reasonable.

How about learn the meaning of hypocrisy so they don't constantly totally embody it? how about growing hearts and brains? how about living up to the teachings of the savior whose name they're always screaming? how about coming to the understanding that climate change is happening now and we need to fix it before it destroys us? how about having the epiphany that war is a bad thing? how about realizing that not everyone fits into the same white, heterosexual, christian mold they seem to want to squeeze everyone in the country into? how about realizing there are more people in this country than the rich and that we all deserve the same rights and opportunities as they do. how about stopping trying to make everyone else live by their fanatic religious beliefs? this would be a good start. am i holding my breath till they decide to do even one of these things? nah.
    SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR REPUBLICAN!

As an independent voter, I will be looking very closely at what each political party is doing.

Here is my wish: How about the politician parties earning my vote this time?

I really want to vote for a candidate instead of voting against a candidate.

#11 Take blame for deregulating Wall Street, Big Business and Big Oil. Take blame for creating the mess we are in and say, No, to them in November as we can't give them a second chance to ruin America financially.

Explain to me how the current crop of Republicans can make amends, or make us forget, about all the havoc they have inflicted on the American people.

Conservative exteremists controlled congress for twelve years (1994-2006) and they also rubber-stamped everything George Bush put before them from 2001 to 2006. They are responsible for tanking the economy and they haven't even figured THAT out yet.

It's gonna take them a lot more than ten week to bring me back ... no matter how hard they try.

All the republicans need to do is start a new contract with America listing the principles that are the core of the conservative base. Obama will do the rest of the work for the repubs.

The Republicans should and must set forth, in writing their agenda as to how they intend to help Americans out of the Problems Bush and Obama created for us. Granted the problems started back with Clinton and his everyone should have a house So Freddie and Frannie with financial institution made it possible even though people had no jobs or low paying jobs. We need to cut from the top . The White House , members on the Hill , Government employees are to large. Scale back on the number of Federal employees that get their student loans paid for by the Federal government, along with other perks that are outrageous. Federal employees like teachers, firemen, police officers and other emergency teams are need , but all those staffers on the Hill and White House , do you really need them. most corporations and businesses cut first the FAT then have what is needed to perform.
