At Beck rally, MLK's niece says civil rights leader 'would sure commend us'

(CNN) - The niece of the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. said that her uncle would approve of conservative talk show host Glenn Beck's "Restoring Honor" rally unfolding Saturday in front of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, the same place where the civil rights leader delivered his "I Have a Dream" speech 47 years ago.

"If Uncle Martin could be here today, he would sure commend us of giving honor where honor is due," Alveda King told a large, cheering crowd.

  1. Restore US

Apparently the Urban League, the NAACP and Al Sharpton missed the memo. And the point.

Wow, Alveda King, you have emerged from obscurity to the national stage... to the notorious stage, that is. Uncle Tom, meet Aunt Alveda.

In a morbid way, I'm looking forward to hearing the backlash from your brutal mistake. When you see your extended family around Christmas, you better get drunk first... FYI, Beck is a racist. He pretends to not be, but there are far too many clips where he slips.

Somebody must have drugged you, Alveda.

Glenn Beck is run by the GOP which is run by Wall Street which is run by money which is the root of all evil which is run by the devil! Can you see the connection now? Read Proverbs 11:25 and 10:15, you will see the truth.
