Palin's 'impotent' comments make rounds

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2010/images/09/03/art.palin.0903a.gi.jpg caption =" Sarah Palin has set the blogosphere ablaze again."](CNN) - Sarah Palin has managed to set the blogosphere ablaze again, this time after appearing to use sexual metaphors to slam mainstream media reporters who rely on anonymous sources.

"Those who are impotent and limp and gutless and they go on their anonymous - sources that are anonymous - and impotent, limp and gutless reporters take anonymous sources and cite them as being factual references," Palin said in her criticism of the press. "It just slays me because it's so absolutely clear what the state of yellow journalism is today that they would take these anonymous sources as fact."

The comments, made Wednesday on Sean Hannity's radio program, appeared to be fueled by an unflattering Vanity Fair profile out the same day that, relying heavily on unnamed sources, claimed the former Alaska governor had a 'mean temper.'

"When a story is filled with those, we know it's bogus," she also said.

Palin's latest choice of words made the rounds on countless blogs and Twitter feeds Thursday.

"I agree [with] Palin on overuse of unnamed sources, but calling reporters 'impotent' and 'limp'? Did she have to go there?" tweeted Howie Kurtz, a Washington Post media critic and CNN contributor.

I long for the time when we can go one day without seeing that woman's facebook/twitter rants in the news. It's ironic that a commentator for the experts in yellow journalism, Faux News, can say that about anyone else. Sounds like the Vanity Fair guy hit a nerve.

    They're impotent and gutless...and...gutless...and impotent...and impotent...and...and...

Lashing out viciously is hardly the way to prove you don't have a nasty temper.
    But then this is Palin.

So? Journalism has been dead in America since 2009. You so called journalist are just puppets for the Union bosses, the DNC and it’s ilk. You all forgot who you are. No wonder Fox News is hated by you carnival barkers

Who cares if there anonymous... just 1/2 of America, they'll tell you Palin has a "mean temper." She comes across as either bitter or stupid (or both) when she speaks. Videos of her speaking are evidence enough.

Oh, hell, a woman of her wide and varied background can now size them up at a cursory glance, huh? Even the female journalists, too!

Didn't she just prove she has a "Mean Temper". Also, these kinds of statements will be used against her if she is stupid enough to try and run for President in 2012. Sometimes the less said the best said. What a loser...

Maybe Sarah learned those adjectives from her own experiences of marriage to Todd, who seems to be the "feminine" side of the relationship.

This woman has no education, none and I 'm not just talking traditional education. And for her education we can start with unnamed sources, it means people in your own camp, duh.

Once again she strikes from the comfort of a conservative talk show host chair. She is "impotent" in her ability to stand and take questions from the same media she easily criticizes. Such a biotch and hipocrite.

She and Sharron Angle, and now Jan Brewer, are continually proving they have NO substance or ideas and are down-right stupid.

Stop telling us about "common-sense" Sarah, give us some?

    1) "... unnamed sources, claimed the former Alaska governor had a 'mean temper.' "

    2) Palin rants angrily and vulgarly about anonymous sources (not really the same thing as "unnamed" sources – but we'll let that slide).

    QED.

CNN, please stop giving this woman attention. She can tweet her own twitterings to anyone who's interested in the twitterings of a kwitter.

I agree completely with her. Any media outlet that won't cite their sources on any article are impotent and limp and have no stones. Secondly, who cares about Vanity Fair anyway. Isn't it a womens fashion magazine? Why would they be writing articles about politics anyways? Stick to fashion.

Well, at least she's shown she doesn't have a 'mean temper'...

Yahoo! You go, girl! You summarized the sorry state of what passes for journalism these days in the clearest, most accurate terms – impotent and limp just like the nasty and ignorant bloggers the media allows to attack her and her family personally because they don't have enough smarts to criticize her policies and positions on policy! Learn a lesson CNN because these applies directly to you!

The media especially the disgusting cable network MSNBC are a bunch of morons. They lie they are hateful to promote their left wing agenda. Sarah Palin has more guts and brains then those idiots of the liberal media. Remember what comes around comes around, you will have your day. Keep up the good work Sarah Palin and ignore the left wing nonsense.

I'm thinking Sarah doesn't understand that they're not anonymous to the reporters. The reporter knows exactly who they are. Anonymous just means they don't want their name reported. Sarah Palin is known According to the recent vanity fair article to be very vengeful with those who speak against her.
