Palin's 'impotent' comments make rounds

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2010/images/09/03/art.palin.0903a.gi.jpg caption =" Sarah Palin has set the blogosphere ablaze again."](CNN) - Sarah Palin has managed to set the blogosphere ablaze again, this time after appearing to use sexual metaphors to slam mainstream media reporters who rely on anonymous sources.

"Those who are impotent and limp and gutless and they go on their anonymous - sources that are anonymous - and impotent, limp and gutless reporters take anonymous sources and cite them as being factual references," Palin said in her criticism of the press. "It just slays me because it's so absolutely clear what the state of yellow journalism is today that they would take these anonymous sources as fact."

The comments, made Wednesday on Sean Hannity's radio program, appeared to be fueled by an unflattering Vanity Fair profile out the same day that, relying heavily on unnamed sources, claimed the former Alaska governor had a 'mean temper.'

"When a story is filled with those, we know it's bogus," she also said.

Palin's latest choice of words made the rounds on countless blogs and Twitter feeds Thursday.

"I agree [with] Palin on overuse of unnamed sources, but calling reporters 'impotent' and 'limp'? Did she have to go there?" tweeted Howie Kurtz, a Washington Post media critic and CNN contributor.

Can't wait to see what Chrissy and Keith and their ilk have to say in response. Should be good for a laugh. Stay tuned!

Sarah Palin's response to the rumor that she has a bad temper is... to lose her temper. Brilliant!

Oddly, I'm almost willing to believe that she doesn't know what "impotent" and "limp" even refer to, because she seems to use words the way a parrot does: she doesn't understand what they mean, she just heard them somewhere and repeats them. That's why we get sexual insults, words like "refudiate," and terms like "a cackle of rads" (she probably meant "cabal" but since she's just imitating human speech instead of actually USING it, a sound-alike was close enough for her).

Republicans look completely silly, making this dolt their big star. The fact that they can't see through her throws their judgement about everything else into question, too, because... she's obvious.

Answer real questions from CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, CNBC, TeleMundo, USAToday, WSJ, NY Time, et al without being prescreened then you can talk. Anyone who follows or supports you should have their head checked.

You do not deserve the attention you are getting Mrs. Quitter. You are not qualified nor capable of representing this country, our people, or our values. You are an embarrassment (and that's being nice considering the venue).

Put and end to her attention seeking once and for all. Say no to her and the rest of her family. (ABC – yes you – you should be ashamed of yourselves and I will not watch one show on your channel this season).

"Those who are impotent and limp and gutless and they go on their anonymous – sources that are anonymous – and impotent, limp and gutless reporters take anonymous sources and cite them as being factual references," Palin said ...

What a complete MORON... She still can't talk English and her logis is wrong...

Just because a source is anonymous doesn't mean it's not factual...

Ahhhh, so presidential. Tell me, Palin fans, if she looked like the lady standing next to you in the subway, would you still vote for her?

One again the pot calling the kettle black; and while talking to the most yellow of all the "journalists". I am so sick of the hatred, disrespect, hypocracy, and anti American values this woman and all her cronies at fox news display, on a daily basis.
Don't you all remember that GWB had to run as a "compassionate conservative" because Americans were so sick of the hatred and selfishness of the right in this country? Nothing has changed, they are still all about ME ME ME ME and don't care a thing about what is happening to "real Americans'. They are trying to scare off the real journalists so they can contnue to tell their lies, like death panels, and beheadings in the desert; and no one will fact check or challenge them. Look at Sharon Angle, Jan Brewer, Rand Paul, they all avoid speaking to legitimate journalists and then try to disparage them.

Howard Kurtz should read the article Sarah Palin is referring too, she wasn't saying all reports either. Vanity unFair wrote a hit piece so Sarah Palin has a right to call them out!

Her words again prove to be her biggest downfall. She certainly responds to criticism in a thoughtful, responsible way.

Or maybe she meant the word in it's broader sense, powerless. I'm amazed at the obsession with every utterance that comes from Palin's mouth.

How many times can you say impotent and limp in one statement? Must be new words she just learned and wants to make sure she doesn't forget them.

"When a story is filled with those, we know it's bogus," she also said.

in other news, remember that time an anonymous person going by Deep Throat was ABSOLUTELY RIGHT about certain shenanigans going on in politics? Yup, definitely bogus whenever the source is anonymous.

I would suggest that Sarah Palin read "Blinded by the Right – The Conscience of an Ex-Conservative" by David Brock. She'll learn that her conservative friends invented this nonsense of taking unsubstantiated rumors from one source (not 2 as is common accepted practice) and presenting it as fact. And by the way Ms. Palin, an "anonymous source" doesn't mean that the journalist doesn't know who the source is, it means that they're not disclosing who the source is.

Clearly, it is her mate Todd who is limp and impotent, resulting in her mean temper. They didn't need any 'unnamed sources', the whole word has seen her in action and can attest to her temper.
It's time for Caribou Barbie to exit stage right, far, far right.

So some of you out there in illiterate and incoherent land want this woman as president. Could you imagine her giving a speech to the UN Assembly? It would be untranslatable...... what an embarrassment.

One of the interesting points here is.... every time Sarah opens her mouth she tends to confirm the negative attributes asserted by this or that writer. Take the foul temper accusation from the referenced article. Sarah! Attacking an opponent's sexuality?!!? Pretty lame and vicious, there, grizzly..... Totally lacking in substance – which is what you really want to challenge in the journalist's story....

Guess what Palin.......you DO have a mean temper and you just proved it.

I do not know about impotent & limp, however, I agree that the media has a way of turning things in the opposite direction! As a matter of fact, most everything reported, in some fashion. They are taught to do this, to sensationalize everything.
