Palin's 'impotent' comments make rounds

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2010/images/09/03/art.palin.0903a.gi.jpg caption =" Sarah Palin has set the blogosphere ablaze again."](CNN) - Sarah Palin has managed to set the blogosphere ablaze again, this time after appearing to use sexual metaphors to slam mainstream media reporters who rely on anonymous sources.

"Those who are impotent and limp and gutless and they go on their anonymous - sources that are anonymous - and impotent, limp and gutless reporters take anonymous sources and cite them as being factual references," Palin said in her criticism of the press. "It just slays me because it's so absolutely clear what the state of yellow journalism is today that they would take these anonymous sources as fact."

The comments, made Wednesday on Sean Hannity's radio program, appeared to be fueled by an unflattering Vanity Fair profile out the same day that, relying heavily on unnamed sources, claimed the former Alaska governor had a 'mean temper.'

"When a story is filled with those, we know it's bogus," she also said.

Palin's latest choice of words made the rounds on countless blogs and Twitter feeds Thursday.

"I agree [with] Palin on overuse of unnamed sources, but calling reporters 'impotent' and 'limp'? Did she have to go there?" tweeted Howie Kurtz, a Washington Post media critic and CNN contributor.

Doesn't surprise me one bit, she is so petty, anything said about her, she has to respond in a mean, and tactless way, she has no class.....

Evertime Sarah tries to say somethign intelligent she comes up short. This woman is so profoundly void of what it takes to demonstrate that she has what it takes to lead the masses is beyond belief. And the amount of people that seem to think she possess the very substance to lead the masses is the 7th wonder of the world.

I truely hope that she will be the GOP's saviour for the 2012 election cycle as it will show withoput a doubt just how lacking she is in being a formidale contender to in fact lead the masses. She is a reflection of what the Republican Party has devolved into along with the entire conservative movement!

Naaah . . . she doesn't have a temper at all, you crazy limp Vanity Fair people.
Please, just keep giving her more rope. I love it.

This from the woman who says anything she wants to without any regard to truth or fact. During the Presidental campaign she just spouted out anything that came into her mind. She didn't care if there was one grain of truth in it. Now she's offended when someone else uses her tatics. What a hypocrit.

Every other politician is accessible to the press and the public. Palin, afraid of not knowing the answers to simple questions,(what she calls "Gotch ya" moments)is simply hiding. Other politicians just call them “hard” or “good” questions. When she does allow the public to question her it is at conservative rallies or paid speeches with pre-selected questions and friendly right wing nut job audiences.

She is not intelligent enough to think on her feet without the fear of putting one or both in her mouth.

A politician who does not allow a "dialogue" with the public is not serving the public and is hiding something.

Yes, the 20% of fruitcake Christians think she is some sort of saint.

America is an embarrassing place to be right now.

Sara Palin should keep on doing what's she's doing. She is showing just how ignorant she really is. And for all those who follow her, well, I fell sorry for those poor, dumb, boobs. They don't have the since God gave a possum.

Palin somehow reminds me of Winnie Mandela, the lady Nelson Mandela divorced. Distasteful, disgusting, radical, dangerous, but left alone to embarrass the nation because of fear of alienating her radical followers and sending them over the edge. Where's Tina Fey? At least Tina could bring some joy into this tragedy.

Did someone hurt Princess Sarah's feelings. Maybe she'll have Todd and her goon squad take care of them. She doesn't address the meat of the article that her people are creating fake charities in order to land her fat speaking gigs across the country. What is the deal with these organizations that crop up, host Sarah's $160,000 speech and then vanish off the internet? Bet the fine reporters at Fox News won't be sniffing around this scheme.

Save your outrage Sarah for when your daughter gets bounced off Dancing with the Stars since she's not a Star nor a Dancer.

Perfect metaphors for the pansy journolisto whores (nice rhime to it).
Rile up a mamma grizzly and get ready for a smack down. Actually, she had to use language that you libs know all so well. Limp, as in limp wristed and limp noodle. Impotent, most women are turned off by girlie-men. Gutless, because you hide behind women's skirts. Now you hairy armpitted and hairy legged nags will get offended, but who cares.

She is right. The liberal press doesn't have the know how to do any real investigation but, must rely on hate mongering liberal bloggers.
These bloggers are spineless and hide behind the safety of being unknown. Show some courage and let yourselves be known. Sarah put her beliefs and opinion out there where all can know. That is courage and a person of strong moral beliefs. Step out in the open you cowards.

If she can not take the heat, then stay out of the kitchen. She thinks is just honkey dorey if she slams and slanders others but when it comes to her, she thinks she should be off limits. She is such a useless Moron. She needs to just away and stay out of the public. She is a nuisance and needs to learn how to use the correct terminology.

Well, you know what? She's absolutely right. The mainstream press in this country sucks. We have few true "journalists" anymore. We instead have "activists" who see it as perfectly acceptable, even commendable, to slant their reporting of the news in order to further their onw personal political agendas.

If she disputes the statements, where is her proof that something else was done or said? The goal of anonymous sources is to get information out that people should be aware of but can't state openly because of job or personal issues. Ideally, reporters would be verifing these sources as well.

And, Sarah, it slays ME that you could yourself discern any fact from fiction. The statements you have made in the past, your abiding unawareness of history and current world events, your criticism of everything and anything outside of your parochial ideology, your personal hypocrisy, and your choice of "friends" from the Tea Party and FOX News do not enhance your credibility either.

Wow, wow, wow! what kind of language is she using. This woman needs to polish her tongue. This is not the way respectable people speak. If she were where I am living at the moment, she could be taken behind the bars instantly.

Sarah uses her sexuality, with suggestive words to tease and keep the Fox boys eager for more. She's not stupid when it comes to tossing her hair and keeping her figure, she knows that's all she has, so uses it to roll in the big jackpots. When she is one on one with someone with more than looks, she's lost. I'd give my last dollar to hear her debate Hillary.

We can only hope that she keeps saying stuff that will get folks to wake up and realize that this women is a kook. Why she and others like Al Sharpton get the spot light like this is beyond me. Just makes me sick.

Maybe Vanity Fair has it right. Sarah is showing her vulgar and crude side. Not as socially polished as she tries to be.

Sarah Palin generally makes alot of "very stupid comments" and then turns around and has the nerve to critize the media for reporting on the same. Sarah sould come to the conclusion that comments made and the responce by the media is a "two way street"!
