Palin's 'impotent' comments make rounds

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2010/images/09/03/art.palin.0903a.gi.jpg caption =" Sarah Palin has set the blogosphere ablaze again."](CNN) - Sarah Palin has managed to set the blogosphere ablaze again, this time after appearing to use sexual metaphors to slam mainstream media reporters who rely on anonymous sources.

"Those who are impotent and limp and gutless and they go on their anonymous - sources that are anonymous - and impotent, limp and gutless reporters take anonymous sources and cite them as being factual references," Palin said in her criticism of the press. "It just slays me because it's so absolutely clear what the state of yellow journalism is today that they would take these anonymous sources as fact."

The comments, made Wednesday on Sean Hannity's radio program, appeared to be fueled by an unflattering Vanity Fair profile out the same day that, relying heavily on unnamed sources, claimed the former Alaska governor had a 'mean temper.'

"When a story is filled with those, we know it's bogus," she also said.

Palin's latest choice of words made the rounds on countless blogs and Twitter feeds Thursday.

"I agree [with] Palin on overuse of unnamed sources, but calling reporters 'impotent' and 'limp'? Did she have to go there?" tweeted Howie Kurtz, a Washington Post media critic and CNN contributor.

The type of comments she makes only reflect her fear of us knowing who she really is. I really hope she gets the republican nomination. It'll be beautiful.

Once again Sara has shown us that she doesn't have a brain in her head. Can't believe anyone would actually take her seriously.

How did she ever get this far? If one would listen to her for very long one might lose all ability to construct coherent sentences.

Any person that comes to the rescue of a person that uses the "N-Word" 11 times in 5 minutes.....In a very PUBLIC MANNER that has aperations in politics must either be CRAZY, INSANE, STUPID or have the last name Palin.

This woman is damaged goods, in today technological world, this was not the right era to be out there saying and doing the things that this extremely STUPID and CHILDISH woman has been doing...

Sarah Palin has a mean temper? And who is surprised by this? Surely anyone who has the guts to check her previous record both as mayor and governor KNOW that she is a vindictive shrew hiding behind a "pretty face" that becomes less pretty the more we learn about her lack of character. Her own children have to become un-wed mothers, or run off to war just to claim her attention in a sound bite for a moment or two. She is basically a pathetic human being, selfish, immature and fame seeking. In other words the perfect material for another politician. The problem is she is a dumb quitter too. Not even smart enough to get a law degree first. How many colleges did she have to flunk out of before she got her degree in "Media Studies"?

I did not know that Vanity Fair had a qualified reputation as a news source! On the other hand, if FOX 'News' can be considered news, or what Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh preach are 'thruths' then I guess Vanity Fair and the National Enquirer may also be considered 'news media.'
The "Death Panel" lady seems pretty shaken by text in a gossip magazine.

I wonder how the reputable conservatives like Gingrich and Huckabee feel about having to share the stage with this evil-natured darling, or how they'll keep a straight face as she preaches to her choir.

Anyone who still thinks this woman is worthy of all this attention, PLEASE read and reread (because it makes absolutely no sense) her whatever it is she was trying to convey.
She does seem to have that bad temper she keeps denying. There's the proof in a nutshell. Not only does she go off (no pun intended) but she makes even less sense than she usually does.
It's hard to imagine her not going after that eunuch of a husband and anyone else who gets in her way throwing around the "f" word becuase it fits her to a tee.
She has finally reached the stage where the only thing she can dish out is mindless impotent messages. I.e., cojones, limp, impotent, gutless?
This are the same reporters whokeep her in the news against the 90%, or more, of the public (nationwide and worldwide) who think she is a complete moron! Pay back IS a witch named whatever her name is.

if she's going to stay in the news, the least she could do for us is sign up for an "english-as-a-second-language" course at her local community school.

Why do we have to disect every "useless" word this woman says?
It is of no importance to the real trials and tribulations normal people face on any given day.

Such an ugly person on the inside, thinking she's being so clever. She's a bully, plain and simple. A bully and a quitter.

I pray she runs for president in 2012, just so she can keep making gaffes in the public eye.

Yawn. That's not a surprise even. She's a fiery personality and a brazen partisan and critic. I'd be shocked if she wasn't mean-tempered just a little bit. Poltics is not a business that suits the gentle, meek or timid.

Alaska governor had a 'mean temper

    named source of tirade:

"Those who are impotent and limp and gutless and they go on their anonymous – sources that are anonymous – and impotent, limp and gutless reporters take anonymous sources and cite them as being factual references," Palin

She can call the media impotent, but she's one of the main reasons the GOP is limp.

Palin is just plain disgusting. And this fits with her extremist "Christian" values how??? Such a self-promoting hypocrite. Everything is always everybody else's fault – never the idiot statements and stupid actions by Palin.

Will there ever come a day when CNN has ONE day without a Palin story?
