Obama: They talk about me like a dog

(CNN) – Those following President Obama's prepared remarks during a speech in Milwaukee, Wisconsin Monday were thrown a bit of a curveball when it came to a description of his critics:

"Some powerful interests who had been dominating the agenda in Washington for a very long time and they're not always happy with me. They talk about me like a dog. That's not in my prepared remarks, but it's true," he told a crowd largely consisting of union members.

The line was a rare departure from a president who normally sticks close to the text of his speech and may forecast a more aggressive tone on the part of Obama as the midterms approach.

The address is the first of two speeches this week in which Obama will try and frame his administration's response to the recession, less than two months ahead of midterm elections where Democratic majorities in the House and Senate are on the ropes.

Most of thesse comments are ridiculous and not thought out by people of either political bent. I'm republican and sadly their comments are the most inflamatory and closed minded. If all you have to post is a played out rhetoric, please don't post. This section should stimulate thought, not try and 'change' people from theotherside that never will be. Hey admin, put this as the disclaimer on your page!

People don't be surprised by the harsh rhetoric being spewed on this network. Since CNN hired Eric Erickson a new batch of nuts have come along with him. It's unfortunate that CNN hired a man who I believe is nothing but a racist and fear monger. The surprise will be when the pundits will be wrong on November 2, and the Democrats will retain the house majority.

    GO OBama!

I am in awe of the kool aid drinkers posting here (even though Obama/soros OWN CNN) still defending the indefensible. Your Bow wow in Chief has increased debt single handily MORE than the combined debt of ALL presidents before him. You must be proud. Your president Bow Wow used chicago thugery, bribes, and downright vote buying schemes to pass an unconstitutional Health Care bill, AGAINST the will of the people. You must be proud. Your Messiah Muts health care plan will cut medicare payments to the elderly and infirm 500 billion, thus guaranteeing human suffering and even death. You must be proud. I knew there was a sizeable amount of americans with mental disorders, but the trolls on this board are amazing! You must be proud!

I started to read these comments and was surprised at the number of fools that were defending Obama, after all, he is bringing this country to it's knees, anyone with a grain of sense can see that, then I scrolled up to see where the link had taken me.. CNN.. of course!! I should have known.. the major left leaning "news" media in the USA. The place where fairness is replaced by censorship.

What is it about Washington that distracts whomever goes there? I've been disappointed lately with my fellow democrats because we sound and act just like everyone else. Promise, spend, argue and blame! How about doing what we were sent to do...create a new culture in which we actually get something done. Historians will rightly take us to task since we didn't do what we promised even though we owned the town at the time.

No one I have heard in 2 in a half years has ever described or talk about you as a dog .
That is what you learned in the minister wrights school of liberation theology . Make up and lie about anything and many will believe .
Very presidential young intellectual man , so smart and sorrounded by the best the left has to offer .
Obama landslide WIN in November , I can see it now , " republicans win big thanks to Obama landslide ", CNN confirms and on fox " america begins to save USA from the liberation theologists"

Lol! Republicans fix and run the USA?????? Yea they did such a great job the past ten years. Wake up America, your going to find your kids wearing red scarfs to school and singing the Chinese anthem if we do not pay back the trillions king George borrowed from the communist. Stay strong Mr president, if Americans want to relive the glorious and wonderful Bush years let them, the repulicans will have the entire nation employed. Yea we will be be planting rice wearing flip flops and pointy straw hats.

Like a dog? Really, well maybe its time he stopped being the lap dog for special interest groups(bankers and big corporations) and the lunatic fringe left then. Personally I believe that using that term disparages dogs......
