Obama: They talk about me like a dog

(CNN) – Those following President Obama's prepared remarks during a speech in Milwaukee, Wisconsin Monday were thrown a bit of a curveball when it came to a description of his critics:

"Some powerful interests who had been dominating the agenda in Washington for a very long time and they're not always happy with me. They talk about me like a dog. That's not in my prepared remarks, but it's true," he told a crowd largely consisting of union members.

The line was a rare departure from a president who normally sticks close to the text of his speech and may forecast a more aggressive tone on the part of Obama as the midterms approach.

The address is the first of two speeches this week in which Obama will try and frame his administration's response to the recession, less than two months ahead of midterm elections where Democratic majorities in the House and Senate are on the ropes.

He's obviously not Presidential material. This man is as thin-skinned as any President I've ever seen. Bush was demonized as "Hitler" as an "idiot"...and he never complained. Obama has been whining about his treatment ever since his election, going so far as trying to orchestrate the marginalization of FOX news.

Here's some advice Mr President. BE A MAN.

A lot of the comments were very vicious and proves once again just how horridly racist these knuckle draggers really are. The cowardly bigots will never accept a black man in the WH. Of course, some of them are just incredibly dumbed down and, thus, are totally brainless!

Obama is such a whiner, he tries to be everything to everyone and then wonders why most people don't like him. Look at his speeches to the Unions and then look at his speeches to small business, he talks out of both sides of his mouth every other day! he needs to go but first things first, get rid of Harry Reid, win the house and stop the spending, that'll be a good start.

@ Joan: Do you actually live in the USA? How can you be so blind not to see The Obama radical agenda? Then again, you probably get most of your news from CNN, so perhaps I can understand your fawning comments. Go read some history, not the crap history you were taught in school, but the original writings of the Founding Fathers. Then perhaps you will understand the kind of country America is supposed to be.

The remarks on this page are outrageous - and just prove how right the President is. If any of you had the guts to stand up and call out the politicians in your are for what they are doing wrong - and get them out of Washington, I might have some respect for the Tea Party and the Republicans. But you all go along with it when it's to your benefit. I've spent 30 years working in a profession where I hear it every election time -- "Oh, we've got to keep the Republicans in office or we'll lost all our money." Well, you kept them in office and the country is in trouble economically and now you are all trying to figure out how to save YOUR behinds - not the folks who really need the help - YOURSELVES!

You're all part of the same 2% Oligarchy we see in every 3rd world country in the world. I hope you are proud of yourselves!

Well, what do you expect, Obama? We're aren't really sure what you are. No school records, no BC, no church, no allegiance

In the retail world if something doesn't sell, it's referred to as a dog. So in my viewed they are right for calling him a dog then.

    Let's do the math:
Democrat control of House AND Senate AND Presidency
= Gov't Motors, Gov't HealthCare, Trillion dollar Deficit, a difficult War in Afghanistan with amnesty for illegals on the horizon and a ground zero mosque.
They're gettting everything they want, but is it what America wants???

Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

Has it really come to this? Obama, no longer complaining, now simply whining.

America needs a leader; Obama doesn't know how.
America yearns for upliftment; Obama can only tear us down.
The country has moved beyond his campaign rhetoric; Obama remains stuck in it.

Obama doesn't look for followers, he demands worshipers; the country, however, has refused him. How pitiful he has become.

Obama's problem is simple. He has neither the ability nor willingness to lead. Obama is a rock star. He expects to go out on stage and perform (give speeches), and have the fans cheer him as a god. The job of President demands more than Obama is able or willing to give. Now that the reality has set in - for him and the country - we are all stuck; that it comes at a time when the country needs so much more is a tragedy.

Fine. Go ahead. Vote against your own best interests ... jobs, healthcare, loans, education, infrastructure, international diplomacy, scientific research and exploration ... put the Republicanische Bund (sic) back into power, so they can FINISH the job they STARTED of RUINING our great country.

The fascist oligarchs of the Republican Party had BETTER read a little history ... if you crush the middle class, two things will happen:

    1. There will be no one to pay taxes or buy your goods.

    2. It will only take a certain number of children, elderly, hungry, homeless, etc. DYING in the STREETS before there WILL be a revolution, but it WON'T be the kind the Republican thugs are agitating for.

The neanderthals of the Reich (sic) have NEVER forgiven FDR for the New Deal and Social Security.

Of COURSE it's MY fault I'm poor and disabled; OF COURSE I should have a million dollars in retirement savings after working for fifty years at a salary that TOPPED OUT at $37K per annum (and I have a Master's degree!).

Apparently the so-called kristianists never read the Commandment that says:

Um, come to think of it, they gave the one about committing adultery a pass too.

A kristianist theocracy is ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENT than what we see in Saudi Arabia today.

Mr. President, stay the course and do not allow the small minded and forgetful people to bother you. It took eight years under a republican leadership to bring our country to where it is today. The small minded and forgetful people expect you to fix the problems created by the prior administration in less than two years... unreal! We were misled on why we went to war and several years later you brought our troops home. Thank you!

I have only five responses to the personal attacks of democrats:
"Failed Stimulus Package", "Obamacare", "Wall Street bail outs", "Pass the bill so we will know what is in it", and finally "Summer of recovery".

GOP: Stay focused on the Democrats record. In the words of President Obama to the Republicans: "Elections have consequences!"

Has any president before whined so much about how others treated him? Clinton might be close but still can't hold a candle to the mighty Obama. How quickly the left forgets the shabby treatment they gave President Bush, yet Bush hardly sat there complaining every chance he got. Politics is a tough game with the garbage hurled from all sides and one has to wonder if Obama really had a clue what he was getting himself into and whether he regrets it.

This type of rhetoric pumps up the base but just turns everyone else off.

Yeah, really? Do some of you forget so quickly how badly George Bush was treated? Talk about like a dog. Do some of you Democrats out there forget so quickly YOUR PARTY has held Congress since 2006? Not the Republicans? You do realize the President cannot SPEND ONE DIME of taxpayer money or raise taxes without consent of the House of Representatives? NO budget can become law until the House of Representatives approve the measure. I guess if you are a Democrat, you are a cannot fend for yourself, refuse to take responsibility for yourself, and or need the Government to be your mommy and daddy. It is embarrassing. Obama has lied every step of the way. Period.

(1.) – You should have backed Democratic Leaders Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid when they sought to dump Sen. Joe Lieberman and take his chairmanship for personally attacking your character during the 2008 Presidential campaign.

(2.) – You should have backed former President Carter instead of throwing him under the bus when Carter correctly called out the Tea Party racist for using the N-word to reference you.

(3.) – You should have attacked Sarah Palin when she effectively called you a terrorist by falsely claiming you "pal around with terrorist".
