Tea Party activists gather in Washington ahead of midterm elections

Washington (CNN) - A damp and enthusiastic crowd of self-proclaimed "Tea Party patriots" gathered at the U.S. Capitol building Sunday for a second straight September 12 march on Washington.

The collection of disparate groups and individuals, all supportive of the Tea Party movement, came together to protest what they consider to be out-of-control spending, excessive taxes and a government run amok.

Under the theme of "Remember in November" - a reference to the upcoming mid-term congressional elections - they warned both Democrats and Republicans that it was time for the American people to take back Congress.

"There's only one power on Earth that is big enough to wreck this country, and that's big government," said former House leader Dick Armey, chairman of the FreedomWorks group that organized the rally.

In addition to bussing these people in, paying all their expenses, giving them posters, talking points, etc. the Koch brothers pay them cash and force them to sign an agreement that they will never disclose those facts to anyone.

Welcome to the CORPORATISTS of the U.S.A. They fall for anything.

These born-again bigots and demagogues are back in town to tell us they do need government to live their lifes. Who is forcing them to live their lifes with government. They can go and build their own roads, schools, hospitals, etc and run them as they wish. It would be nice to see the government spend less money on them. In their own demagoguery, that would surely decrease government spending! And we would all be better off.

Dick Armey ... come with me into the 3rd world where governments are already the size of postage stamps. Is that what you want?

Dick Armey ... do you really want to live under an International Corporate Society?

Dick Armey ... Remember our Constitution ... We The People. We are Big Government! We are all our Government. Whether government exists locally, at a State level or Federally ... We Are Our Government

Dick Armey ... .Support our Constitution and demand that all elected officials take an oath to support separation of their 'church' from our 'State'.

Dick Armey ... Anarchy is where you are leading

The only "power" big enough to destroy our country is the hatred which is spread by the right-wing whackjobs in this country.

No military retirements, no military healthcare, no social security, no Medicare, no Medicade, no government jobs, education, science, no Constitution, no country…

After the Tea Party/GOP extremists take over in November this will be the New Pledge of Allegiance

I pledge allegiance, to the flag of the United Corporate States of America, and to the wealthy, for which it stands, One Corporation, under Wall Street, with discrimination and poverty for the American middle class.

These people are really Libertarians but don't believe that they are. They should wake up and join that party; make it a viable 3rd party to face off with the GOP for the hard line conservatives that don't care how good a person you are and only care about the money you could make.

Don't these people watch the news?

The biggest power on Earth to wreck this country – is BIG corporations.

The Gulf of Mexico spill by BP is a prime example.

Big profits from big oil companies is what also lead to the "Iraq war."

The only chance regular folks have against big corporations is a gov't that stands up for them.

NOT big gov't but RESPONSIBLE government. The GOP have always failed to be RESPONSIBLE because their pocket books are in line with BIG corporations.

If Dick Armey is so anti government he should refuse the money he gets monthly for being in Congress. He's a hypocrite.

By now it is clear to most people that fox, palin and rush are leading the tea party and the right wing republicans into the gutter. Their platform will continue to be lies, treats and more lies leading the gullible and the uneducated into oblivion.

Dick Armey represents himself, he's no different than Pastor Jones who threaten to burn the Qu'ran. Armey will lead his followers until he himself gains power and will burn them in ways they never expected. Don't be Armey's little sheep, the only power he wants is to be in power.

"There's only one power on Earth that is big enough to wreck this country, and that's big government," said former House leader Dick Armey... Wrong. What can and will wreck this or any country is ignorance and intolerance. Unfortunately, those are growing in the US. Thus, the appeal of simple Tea Party solutions for complex problems.

The Tea Partiers, if they are not rich. they don't belong there! They are just stupid and undereducated about the lies Fox News tells, not realizing that Fox even admits that they are "entertainment programs" when people catch them in their vast number of lies. Of course they are for the rich, not for the Middle Class.

If the Republicans and the Tea Partiers win in November, we will become a country that its' people will lose it's Middle Class! and the poor will become poorer!

Read, or research the new book Arianna Huffington just published,
THIRD WORLD COUNTRY! That is what will happpen to us. No. Social Sec. NO Medicare. No entitlements. BUT WAR........SURE!
