Hill Hallways: Boehner says 'not surprised' by results

(CNN) - Despite primary election blows to Republican establishment candidates, House GOP Leader John Boehner said Wednesday he is not surprised by the results.

"You have heard me talk all year about the rebellion that is going on in America. I have never seen more Americans engaged in our government in my lifetime," Boehner said Wednesday at his first weekly press conference since returning from the summer recess.

Boehner suggested intra-party skirmishes have subsided with the final primary elections of the season and he urged Republicans to embrace voters who propelled lesser known conservative candidates to victory over GOP party picks.

"Now that we're out of the primary season, all members and all of our candidates have to work closely with all of these Americans who are newly engaged in their government, " Boehner said. "We want to encourage American's to take an active role in their government because when Americans are engaged Washington listens."

Yes, Mr. Boehner, we are more engaged, and we are more aware than ever of your lies and manipulations of facts to make your party look relevant and caring. You care about corporations and their tax breaks. You do not care about the average American. And so far, you do not seem to be listening to anyone but the voices in your head. We approve of health care. We approve of ending the Bush tax cuts. We approve of ending the wars. LISTEN to us, or stay home in January.

Boehner is an idiot and he has not predicted anything. In fact he has done NOTHING all year. He has spent more time on the golf course than in Congress doing any real work. He has betrayed the People of Ohio who elected him and they should get rid of him and let the people-focused, non-lobbyist-tied Democrat represent their true needs.

Boehner is as corrupt as they come. He took money from the Wall St banks to oppose them being re-regulated. He took money from the health insurance industry to vote against healthcare. He took money from Big Oil to try to keep them from being sued and fined for the Gulf oil disaster saying the "taxpayers should pay for the cleanup".

He has voted NO on every single piece of legislation regardless who it hurt. He just plays games and has no clue what real Americans are going through. All he cares about are his rich white buddy lobbyists who take him on expensive golf trips and corporations who pay him well to vote the way they want him to vote.

Boehner has spent more time on his hair than he has reading a bill up for vote. He is useless, worthless, and is not doing the job he is being paid over $200K a year to do. Wouldn't you like to play golf, show up to make up lies for your daily media sound bite, and then head to your favorite bar for the evening?

Boehner is NO leader and is NOT Speaker material. He needs to be sent home to Ohio to find out what it means to be unemployed.
