Palin says Karl Rove should 'buck up'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2010/images/05/13/art.palin.0505f.gi.jpg caption ="Sarah Palin responded Wednesday to Karl Rove’s assessment of Delaware Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell’s chances in November."](CNN) - Sarah Palin has a message for former top Bush aide Karl Rove: "Buck up."

Palin sent her message to Rove Wednesday on Fox News, after he expressed the doubt that Delaware Republican Senate nominee Christine O'Donnell does not "evince the characteristics of rectitude and sincerity and character that the voters are looking for."

"Well, bless his heart," Palin said. "We love our friends, they're in the machine, the expert politicos. But my message to those who say that the GOP nominee is not electable, or that they're not even going to try, well I say, buck up!"

Rove, on Tuesday, also said that O'Donnell had made some "nutty" statements prior to her victory.

Palin stuck to her message that competition within the GOP will produce candidates best suited for victory in November –a theory that may be proven incorrect, especially in Delaware where Republicans had hoped to take control of the Senate seat formerly held by Vice President Joe Biden. Democratic Senate candidate Chris Coons is now favored over O'Donnell in the general election.

Palin said the GOP should "put aside internal power grabs and greed and egos" and unite behind all of its nominees.

"I have absolutely nothing against Karl Rove or any of the guys who have much fatter political resumes than I will ever have, but […] they need to realize that the time for primary debate is now obviously over, and it's time for unity because the time for choosing is here," Palin said.

Palin endorsed O'Donnell just days before her primary victory, capping off a remarkable come-from-behind victory for the political newcomer and dealing the Republican Party establishment a significant blow in their hopes for regaining control of the Senate in November.

Rove is a practical GOP political operative. Palin is an ideological purist.

My money is on Rove to prevail in the long run...maybe not in this election cycle, but political shifts are never permanent. They go in cycles and the pendulum swings back and forth.

Palin is the political equivalent of a Scud missile – sort of goes in the right direction but rarely lands exactly in the best place. Her resignation as governor shows she can't be taken seriously.

It becomes redundant even commenting on articles about this windbag. Whoopee....she gets simple people all fired up with her rants and BS. Anyone remember that video of her being "exorcised" at some church alter when McCain first introduced this nutcake? Ive yet to hear anything of substance or truth spew from her loud mouth. But, she's great at blaming and whining. No Palin, we are not moving back to the Dark Ages with you.

So now she is bringing the "others" into her fold. Talk about screwing up America AND politics! The Democrats WILL win come NOvember due to these people pulling votes AWAY from the republicans. Mark my word. I have analyzed the past including Peroit and it does NOT look good when someone tries to introduce a third party. Look @ Nader! NO go... [away!]

Palin is so brave when hiding behind here twitter and facebook mask where no one can question her or even disagree with her.

If she is so great for this country, let her prove it. Take hard questions from someone other than hand-picked bible thumpers; allow for a two way discussion dialogue. Quit hiding.

Unfortunately, if she does that she ends up looking like the moron she is.

    Political theater 101.

    America is embarrassing.

Newt accuses others of making "nutty" statements? As Palin said it takes "cajones" to say something like that given what he has said in his infamous career.

That's right, Rove! When the "I Quit!" exGov speaks, you'd better listen! Integrity doesn't count for beans anymore. It's time to reap what you sow!

Sadly, anyone who puts their faith and hopes in any of these political candidates, commentators or celebrities will be chronically disappointed. The two party political system is just a fancy lotto and the winners are adorned with perks and profits ad nauseam. There will be no salvation or hope for the middle class from these people. America desperately needs a third and fourth party (Tea Party doesn't count) to have a prayer of real representation. You’ll see, I’m right.

O'Donnell was sued by her college for non-payment of tuition. They had to take her to court to finally collect. She only this summer graduated from college because she didn't take a required course years ago. She was pursued by the IRS for non-payment of taxes. She pays half her rent with campaign contributions. And this is a candidate who rants about fiscal responsibility. She also said she would never lie–ever. And if she was hiding Jews and Nazis came to her door and asked if she was hiding Jews, she would not lie because God would provide a way out. Oh boy. Is this a teenager in grown-up clothes? Do we want some irresponsible adolescent, with no sense of adult responsibilities making decisions on important national and international issues? Yikes. God help Delaware and God help us all.

Karl Rove is a cut-throat, no-ethics, devious, underhanded, manipulative, win-at-all-costs SOB. But on his worst day, he is never stupid, when it comes to knowing his trade every which way. Sarah is a profiteering genius who has tapped into a market of fans and is making so much money she can't put it in the bank fast enough. But when it comes to Mr. Rove's stock and trade, Sarah is a pure dimwit. The latest Tea Party nutbag is a gift to Delaware and the Democrats. And let the cannibalization of the GOP continue.

That's it !! It does not matter that this woman is a christian jihadist nut bag. Elect her because she promotes GOP values. Selfishness, greed, bigotry and religious intolerance.
