Sean Duffy wants to take his ax to D.C.

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2010/images/09/16/art.duffy.0916.youtube.jpg caption ="Wisconsin Congressional candidate Sean Duffy is out Thursday with a new ad."] (CNN) - In a new campaign commercial, Wisconsin's resident lumberjack shows that he's come a long way since Boston.

Sean Duffy, a former cast member of MTV's reality shows "Real World Boston" and "Road Rules: All Stars" and a two-time champion professional lumberjack athlete who's now the Republican nominee for Wisconsin's 7th congressional district, released an ad Wednesday that depicts how he says he'll tackle the physical challenge of chopping the national debt.

In the commercial, Duffy uses his lumberjack lineage to bolster his pledge to "topple the big spending in Washington," and boasts that he's "always been quick to take on a big piece of timber" while standing atop the aforementioned piece of wood. After he chopping the top off, Duffy promises to "bring the ax to Washington."

Duffy, a former district attorney who was endorsed earlier this year by former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, easily won the GOP primary on Tuesday. He now faces state Senator Julie Lassa, the Democratic nominee, in the general election this fall. Lassa was first elected to Wisconsin's Senate at age 27. The winner will succeed longtime Democratic Rep. David Obey, who announced earlier this year that he would not run for re-election.

I guess he figured that since Brown has his truck, he will make people think he is just a good ol boy with an ax.

Him and Joe Miller should go take a hike and chop down some timber to build their own little nutjob compound for people that think just like them.

"how he'll tackle the physical challenge of chopping the national debt."

The national debt isn't exactly a physical object? Does Duffy have anything but blunt metaphors and bulky muscles to offer?

What does he plan on cutting? Is he willing to acknowledge that there needs to be some serious tax increases? I would hope that he would be willing to entertain the notion. The gasoline tax needs to be raised to cover the road repairs that need to be done as well as to advance the rail road building.

  17. Run for Congress to serve....!

The country is broken because of self-serving pary oriented politicians in Washington. what we need is : "We the people candidtated to serve the people and the country. The Tea-party is a grassroots movement of good Americans who want to see the country whole again. The Tea-party candidates have their hearts in the right place and will keep their hands out of peoples pockets."

All politicians and now Tea-party candidates must learn to keep out of peoples privates lives; in other words :"Stay out of the Nations bedrooms...............!
