Watchdog group: Delaware candidate's spending 'flat-out illegal'

(CNN) - A watchdog group says it plans to ask authorities in Delaware to investigate Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell's finances.

At issue are more than $20,000 of spending in 2009 and 2010 that Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington claims was illegal.

"It turns out Miss O'Donnell has treated her campaign funds like they are her very own personal piggy bank. She's used that money to pay for things like her rent, for gas, meals and even a bowling outing. And that's just flat-out illegal," said Melanie Sloan, the group's executive director.

The union controlled liberals are pulling out all stops in trying to destroy this woman aren't they. They are inspired by the success they had in demeaning and degrading Sarah Palin and the TEA party. These sexist, racist, arrogant elitists are the same ones who stole the election for the most corrupt, inept, incompetent president we have ever had.

This is a viable concern. Innocent until proven guilty, but Ms O'Donnell has disclosed earnings that amount to only about $13 a day – it's fair to ask how she has been supporting herself and if campaign funds were used for personal expenses.

CNN is calling them as a watchdog group as if it they are a credible non-partisan organization. The watching of this org only applies to the mostly republicans..... not to mention they fabricate things solely based on hearsay. Delusional wacko liberals..

If she needs money she could ask the Cuban money machine in Miami /Dade. He has lots of xtra money left over on the GOP American express cards that he hasn't used yet to fix his house .get massages , fix his cars and to hide a House in foreclosure until someone found out about it , HMMM wonder where that money came from.He should have [plenty after receiving all the free medical, educational, and food goodies the government provided]. Now that he is wealthy and wants to cut social security and ge t Rid of Illegals [He might be one] if he gets the Arizona law in miami .

keep the negative attacks coming. it's what won her the nomination in the first place. typical liberal idiot reaction when they bend over backwards trying to dig up alleged dirt. it's the 'oh my God...i can't believe this" crap. so...IT IS OK for hillary and obama to take money from their own coffers. maybe soros should ask about that. not in our life times. the long and short of it is this...she's a woman, she's white, she's pretty, and she shares bright conservative ideas. not allowed by the liberal world...and scary as hell for them!

Tsk, Tsk @Willy. Don't care what she is just what she did. If she violated ethics then she should be investigated just as they are trying to do to Rangel and Waters. What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. If the Rethugs can dish it then they should be able to take it. Loooooooooooooooooove it!

O'Donnell is part of the longstanding Republican culture of corruption. She's also a long time hard core reactioanry activist. Her early career was spent as a devotee of Phyllis Schlafly, a theocratic neo-fascist who has been very influential in the Talibanization of the Republican party.
