Washington (CNN) - Senate Republicans just said they will move tomorrow to strip Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, from her post as ranking Republican on the Senate Energy Committee.

Republicans say Wednesday they will vote to elect an acting ranking member and then the full GOP conference will ratify the vote.

Republicans will also vote to elect a replacement for Murkowski in the leadership. She resigned Friday as vice chair of the Senate GOP conference.

National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman, John Cornyn, R-Texas, told CNN this is, "the appropriate thing to do. When you chose not to accept the judgment of the primary voters and run as a write in... it has consequences."

Another Republican came out of the Senate GOP lunch and told CNN it was clear Murkowski has virtually no support among her colleagues anymore. That senator spoke on condition of anonymity, in order to speak freely about a private meeting.

Whatever. She's having her revenge for them throwing her under a bus as we speak, so they felt like they had to do something back at her in order to save face. Miller is a fragging lunatic with one thing on his mind: how he might get to fill his pockets by manipulating the misinformed, angry and fearful masses like Jabberwocky Barbie has. It's an easy formula...take 2 parts telling them everything that they want to hear, combine it with 3 parts confirmation of every conspiracy fear they ever entertained, stir in 2 parts daily affirmation of ideological nonsense and denying the facts, fold in 1 part religious dogma, add a pinch of thinly veiled racist resentment, sprinkle with a brown boogeymen and poof...instant half-baked demagogue icon.

Eating their own. 'Do as we say or else. Too funny. Reminds me of the Stepford Wives – instead they're the Stepford Republicans.

Only ones that ever supported her are all the Democrats and about 16 LIBERAL ( Richard Lugar ) Republicans. These Rinos ( John McCain ) must be removed from the Republican Party. All of them must go and I don't care if a Marxist Democrat wins. When you have a Marxist on both sides the Liberal Marxist in the Republican Party MUST be defeated.

Talk about hypocrites. What about wilson and haley being stripped of their ranking after making complete butts of themselves?
Once again the rethugs show they are against women unless it's the retarded bimbo from AK. They are afraid of her like the useless cowards that they all are.

And when she wins, like Joe Lieberman, her party will come groveling back to her, give her back her committee assignments, and beg for her votes on their agenda. What fun!

Go and win Senator Murkowski as an independent and you are welcome to join the Democrats. It is obvious that only far right wingnuts can be Republicans and they can quit quoting Reagan since he wouldn't be welcome in the today's Republicant Party nor would Barry Goldwater. They actually believed in governing and not just fire-bombing and screaming.

Murkowski like Inglis and all the other moderate Republicans, need to run as Independents.

The Repubs are soooo scared of the Tea Party that the tried and true leaders are eating their own. It's funny to see grown men grovel at the altar of Sarah!

WOW...... Senate Republicans just proved to the American public that if you disagree with them or do not do as they say, you will be stripped of everything and kicked out of the party. Reminds me of the old TV show, The Rifleman with Chuck Conners where he disagreed with an order to kill helpless Indians and was stripped of his rank and kicked out of the Army and given only his horse and his broken sword. Not much change from the old day to today's GOP. Only difference is the Grumpy men are Older, hence the Grumpy Old Party.
