Biden to help Democrat in need of assistance

[cnn-photo-caption image= caption ="Vice President Joe Biden will be in Boston Wednesday for a fundraiser for Sen. Blanche Lincoln."]Washington (CNN) - Vice President Joe Biden travels to Boston Wednesday, where he's scheduled to team up with Sen. Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas.

A Democratic source tells CNN that the event is a fundraiser for the two-term Democratic senator, who faces a very difficult re-election bid this year.

After surviving a very tough primary challenge from Arkansas Lt. Gov. Bill Halter that extended to a run-off election, Lincoln now faces off against four-term Rep. John Boozman, the Republican Senate nominee.

A recent Mason-Dixon poll of likely Arkansas voters indicated that Lincoln trailed Boozman by 17 points. Other recent surveys suggest that Boozman's lead is even larger.

Why would any democrat help Blanche Lincoln? Come to think of it, why does Blanche Lincoln even call herself a Democrat?

He's helping a "democrat" that voted against repealing DADT yesterday. I can't support this guy anymore.

Speaking from Arkansas, it appears that Boozman is more than prepared to fall right into the "just say NO" repugnican playbook. The people of the United States deserve better than obstructionism from our elected officials. Blanche Lincoln is not an exciting choice, but she is far better than another "NO" voice.

Why are they having a fund raiser for the Senate candidate for Arkansas in Boston? Maybe that should explain her problem.

All of the Democrat liberals need this golden tounged orater to assist. Perhaps he can declare another "summer of prosperity" or something else that will enhance their reputations as liars and thieves. I do believe SEIU writes his scripts for him. They are corrupt scumbags and he is a perfect idiot.

What help???? I this guy showed up to help me I would run in the other direction. Talk about riding on coat tails. He hasn't done one thing as VP. Atleast Cheney would engage something even if it may have been wrong. This guy is as bad or worse than Dan Quayle. What a flop.

I realize that it's improtant to hold onto every dem seat, but it seems like she should get some sort of punishment for not voting with the rest to end DADT & pass the military bill yesterday. she votes too often as a Republican, why should she get Biden's help?

The more Biden gets involved with a Dem candidate; the more it helps the Repub candidate. Keep up the good work Joe.

So Joe thinks he can help Lincoln in her reelection bid.The problem is that she has a record to defend and she hasn't been on the people's side.I wonder if he's brought prepared speeches or if he's going to shoot from the hip.I bet his handlers are holding their breath if he does the latter.

"Vice President Joe Biden travels to Boston Wednesday, where he's scheduled to team up with Sen. Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas."

Leave it to Biden to go to Massachusetts to "help out" (snicker) a senator from Arkansas.

    Hey Biden...

Try to remember – Cape Cod is a section of Massachusetts, not the costume of a superhero fish.

    You're welcome... buffoon.

Help......or drag down? Biden as help, is highly questionable.

I don't understand. An arkansas senator going to Boston for a fund raiser for her election campaign. Why do all the senators and other politicos go to states other than their own for fund raisers? Is there no money or support in Arkansas?

Now the Democrats want Biden to push their candidates? Well, he is only tongue-tied and irrelevant. Wasn't Clinton supposed to be their key man on the stump? Or can't he be trusted near interns and cigars? We know why it can't be Obozo – the truth is out that the junior senator from Chicago was never up for the job.

If the Democrats who are running for re-election were smart they would not have Vice President Joe Biden come and campaign for them. The Vice President and President do not have a very good track record for campaigning for politicians who want to be re-elected. I know I wouldn't want him. They should be telling him "Thans but not Thanks". If Biden were smart he would tell Obama that he is resigning after the November Elections and tell Obama that it nice being his Vice President but it's time for him me to go. You can see it on his face that he doesn't like being Vice President. He should've taken the Security of State's job like your wife had asked you to do, but Big Joe didn't listen and now he wants out.l
