Palin to team up with Steele at RNC rallies

Washington (CNN) - Sarah Palin will join forces with Michael Steele and the Republican National Committee next month to hold a pair of fundraising rallies, according to multiple Republican sources.

The former Alaska governor and 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee will team up with the RNC chairman at an event in Anaheim, California, on October 16 and in Orlando, Florida, on October 23.

According to a copy of the invitation acquired by CNN, contributions for the events range from $25 per person to attend one of the rallies to $30,400 per couple for a private meeting and reception with Palin and party leaders.

The Republicans' plans were first reported by Politico.

In August, in what was considered a surprising move at the time, Palin attached her name to a letter and survey that was mailed to RNC donors soliciting contributions for the committee's Victory 2010 program, a nationwide get-out-the-vote effort.

With a reputation as a political outsider, Palin's move was partially seen as an effort to mend fences with GOP insiders as she ponders a possible 2012 presidential bid.

Since returning to Alaska after the 2008 campaign, Palin's relationship with the Washington-based GOP committees has been notoriously frayed. She irked GOP officials in Washington in March 2009 by committing to, and then backing out of, a joint fundraising dinner for the National Republican Senatorial Committee and the National Republican Congressional Committee.

In March of this year, she asked the RNC to remove her name from an invitation to a party fundraiser in New Orleans that listed her as one of several invited guests.

Palin and Beck and Steele - you know, they could be called the Three Stooges, but that would be an insult to Moe, Larry and Curly (or Shemp or Joe or Curly Joe).

The great recession started in 2007 right before the new democratic congress was seated so it wasnt the dems policies fault. Every time the dems tried to regulate these out of control financial juganaut that the repugs deregulate and gave tax break to, bush vetoed them. Now we are faced with the same situation with the same bush distructive policies by the repugs and the fox entertaiment news brain washed people will let the repugs finish us off.

Palin‘s appeal is mostly to those who believe in fairy tales. Unfortunately, we have more than our share of ignorant people in this country. Many of them are dangerous right wing and religious fanatics from the middle ages with twisted and outdated views on just about everything.

It's the Mushmouth and Jabberwocky Barbie Demagoguery Tour! Yaaaaaay [insert Kermit waving his arms wildly]!!!!!

They're not lying's not a lie if it's repeated often and loudly enough...and hey, who needs facts and evidence when you can scream at reality that it better get in line with your ideology or else? As you all know, Congress is a time machine, and if they enact all the legislation the religio-fascists, bigots and conservative ideologues tell them to, it'll be the 1800's again before you know it...and all that scary globilization of the economy, communication, information, acculturation, etc., can be safely held at bay no matter how hard evil evil reality tries to "jam it down our throats."

Palin teams up with Steele for an RNC rally and the ENTIRE article is dedicated to the twit from Wassila. You hear that tolling of the bells Steele? They toll for you. You are an 'aside', a comma, a political tool to be used and put back in the shed. When your name is placed next to Palin's ( a political nobody), you become a complete non-entity. You, Steele, are in deep doo-doo. Don't kid yourself about that any longer.

What you may want to do, Mikey, is pony up the $30,400 and get YOUR picture taken with HER. It may not help your toolshed political 'career', but at least you'll have a memento of it.

This is rich. The Alaskan Air Head–wanna be Mussolini, is taking the stage with defensive Michael Steele–wanna be 'boy from the hood'. Neither of them can speak proper English or make a complete statement without some blatant lie.

The Republican Party is in deep doodoo.

    Well done, Sarah!!!!

Over the past 2 years, the demoflops and their supporters have wasted their time berating... belittling.... and demonizing YOU – even though you hold no political office nor are competing for one. And while they squandered time and treasure going after YOU, they, in their arrogance, took their eyes off the ball.

    Again, WELL DONE, Sarah!!!!!!

Millions of Americans are struggling to find the money for shelter, food, gas, medical care, etc. They have no money to donate to any political campaign or cough up $30K for a private dinner. News like this during these hard economic times is obscene.
