Wow, Lucy had more sense even in her craziest moments. We should elect O’Donnell President of Zumumba, that way she can leave, and live there for a while and enjoy the experience of coming to America.

Coons is stiff and rehearsed...O'Donnell did well, comes across as more genuine..

Coon's disdain was not so much against his opponent but against her constant jabs, sound bites and her lack of focus to answer the questions asked.

Wether you like Christne O'Doneel or not yo would expect womone lie Wolf Blitzer would have made some attempt at fairness. It looked at times that he was debating O'Donnell. This only bodes well for her as it looked like he had an M.O
It was disgraceful they way he kept going after her and let Coons slide. This is exactly why people are angy.. And wolf if you intended to get any more Democratic votes You failed

I think it is clear that neither candidate is ideal, but it is clear that one has a little experience and political know how. O'Donnell is a non-profit leader, she should not be a Senator. Honestly, we have 100 senator seats in congress, is she worthy of 1 of those seats? I think not. Although Coons has his own issues and limitations, he at least has a platform and ideas on how to move forward, whereas O'Donnell's platform is to stop how things are done in DC, but I'm affraid she doesn't give a plan on what she wants to do or her platform is.?.? Think rational, vote rational. I need someone who believes in evolution that represents me.

What's not to disdain? O'Donnell is utterly uninformed. I wish someone would ask her some serious questions about the Constitution she keeps saying she will defend because I doubt she knows as much as any first year law student. She says Obamacare has failed to bring down costs. It's been the law for only a few weeks. She refuses to say whether she believes in evolution. She sounds like a candidate for student council.

Isn't it clear that she is simply an idiot. Why do Americans insist on giving the stage to these Palinesque people? Is it simply a lack of education? Do we really grasp the complexities of modern problems? They can't be solved with uni-dimensional sound bytes.

thanks alot for showing us the nth rescued miner and left us out of the big debate. you wonder why cnn is going down the toilet, it is stunts like this, or was o'donnell doing better than expected. your obvious bias towards the democrats makes me wonder.

Why did CNN allow Candidate O'Donnell twice the time for her closing remarks than Candidate Coon?

My husband and I were in the middle of watching the debate between the two Delaware canidates and you quess it, they go to Chili for news. I am thrilled that the miners are being rescuded, but am a Delaware voter and had been told by the media that the debate would be seen on CNN tonight at 7:30.. I am very disappointed that we could not see the entire debate and must wait until 11:00 p.m. to see it in it's entirity. What a disappointmentent!! CNN owes the voters of Delaware and our canidates an apology.....

I would say it was the other way around...The witch could barely stand the good gentleman. Let's hope mediocrity is no longer a virtue in this country. She didn't lose her home during 2008 did she? What does she REALLY do for a living - Ms. Witchy poo.

O'donnel came prepared to the debate as an attack dog, she had collected all the information and attacking points for Conns and Obama although he was not in the debate and she was determined to link Coons to Obama whatever the question as a result there was very little in the way of substance that she gave in this debate, Maybe we should have been listening to Sarah Palin than O'donnel

Didn't watch it but I can see why disdain would be in the mix. The woman is a liar and a cheater.

this lady has one thing and maybe more, ic common with Palen. they are both in way over their head, if these people get elected to antional office, we need to examine our educational system very closely. this was not a debate but a name calling event for the aldy to get attention. the dems shoudl hope she and palen become pres and vp candiaaes. it is laughable.

Coons was well versed on most all topics discussed during the debate and it was almost sad to watch his opponent stumble over many of her answers most notablly the Supreme Court decision question. If Delawarians don't elect this man to the Senate, then they deserve O'Donnell–broom and all

Wolf and CNN have a lotta guts attacking Christine O'donnell and throwing softballs to Chris Coons...Especially when the network hires a whoremonger like Eliot Spitzer

Coon's negative attitude is so overwhelming I can't believe anyone would vote for that guy. Angry doesn't look good on anyone. He acts like he is better than everyone else and that he should get the job because he deserves it by way of birth. I hope she kills him in the election. How can anyone like this guy???????????????

Only reason CNN was on my TV was mine rescue....Thanks for that...but will never watch again after seeing a small part of the biased interview...shame on you...

Gloria Borger, I am in total agreement with you. There is no doubt in my mind O'Donnell is able being, but she is not ready to represent Delaware....i don't she'll ever represent delaware. Coons is clearly the best person to represent delaware for the next 6 yrs.

It is a shame that the Chilean Miner Rescue had to interrupt this debate. CNN: you could have run a blurb at the bottom of the screen to tell us when this would be replayed. If it's midnight, most Delaware voters will be asleep. This is a debate many of us took seriously and you just cut in, cut over to Breaking News, without so much as an apology, and then you had sound trouble for the first 5 minutes. I hope the replay will be available on this website tomorrow. Meanwhile, I am glad about the successful rescue of the miners.

Any intelligent person would have trouble hiding disdain for a right wing whack job candidate funded by Fox News.
