O'Donnell, Coons stage feisty debate in Delaware

Newark, Delaware (CNN) - A feisty Christine O'Donnell attacked her Democratic opponent but also stumbled in Wednesday's debate with Chris Coons in their election battle for Delaware's U.S. Senate seat held for nearly four decades by Vice President Joe Biden.

O'Donnell, the Tea Party backed candidate who upset the mainstream Republican favorite in the primary, appeared nervous at the start but quickly went on the attack, accusing Coons of raising taxes and offering a "rubber stamp" to Obama administration policies if elected.

The woman was actually shaking in the first few minutes of the debate. She is definitely not ready for prime time. Then she fell right into the Katie Couric hole and could not name one Supreme Court decision she disagreed with and thought that Don't Ask Don't Tell went to the High Court. She did not answer the question if evolution is a myth meaning she stands by her comments she made on Bill Mahar Comedy hour. Oh and the highlight of the night calling your opponent a Marxist sure was a contrast to the great story in Chile.

When O'Donnell was asked about Supreme Court cases, She looked like a " deer in headlights". Is She related too Sarah(half term, know nothing but talking points) Palin? LOL

My question is: Did O'Donnell get her "Constitutional law degree" off the back of a CRACKER JACK BOX?

I counted 5 LIES during Her portion of the debate questioning. If I were a betting man I would take "THE OVER".

She could have had a flawless debate and won it hands down and the liberal media will pick her apart. The fact she went through with her campaign after the Media targeted her says she is a fighter and would fight for the people of Delaware. She has some baggage but the bearded Marxist, which the media never mentions, has his share or more. Evidently witches are hated by liberals which is ironic considering Pelosi is a Democrat. If O'Donnell would have been a Socialist, Arab Terrorist, or illegal Mexican Liberals to include the media would have rallied around her and proclaimed she was a victim.

During their first Delaware Senate debate Christine O’Donnell stated that the US was at war with "Russia" in the 1980s. Pleas note:

    1. The US has never has been at war with Russia.
    2. Russia did not exist when the Soviet Union was at war in Afghanistan in the 1980s.

No war, wrong country and fantasy history is made. Ms. O’Donnell is historically ignorant but is ready to commit the US Military to our wars indefinitely based on some fantasy history that she believes happened.

I was really surprised and amused by the contrast between the two candidates. It would be unbelievable for one to understand and imagine that for Ms. O'Donnell to come this far to debate her opponent for US senate seat. To me it was like a third grader debating a college professor in objective matter. I believe this is a real contrast between the T-party candidate and a person that actually think and conceived a plan and idea with given intellectual capacity to lead and serve this nation for brighter future.

    Dear CNN,
It cannot be soooo difficult to monitor a real debate! The hope one had was to compare the work the two candidates will do (or have done) for the people in Delaware, and connected with the impact it has for the rest of the country. This was not a debate; this was the opportunity for Ms O’Donnell to spread her wired and stupid thoughts. I would have liked a format that is based on facts, not fiction and gives a perspective. The media has a responsibility to inform the public – not to present a fairytale evening. That would be SNL fun – but has nothing to do with giving the voter correct information.
Please, go out and vote! But please, go out and vote informed, responsible and smart. Don’t let your vote be bought by people that do not have you interest or that of the country in mind.
