Obama heckled as he stumped for pal in Massachusetts

Boston (CNN) - As President Obama was pumping up thousands at a rally for Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, hecklers interrupted his remarks.

A press pool producer inside the Hynes Convention Center said the protesters held up a banner that read "Keep the Promise" as they chanted.

Another sign read "Fight Global Aids."

The wider audience began to shout them down with "four more years" and "yes we can."

A few minutes later, the President answered the hecklers by pointing out that his administration had increased funding for AIDS research. He suggested it's more than Republicans would achieve.

Obama rolled out his standard stump speech where he railed on Republicans for driving the economy into the ground.

He often leaned into the microphone and raised his voice urging the audience to get engaged and make a difference on November 2nd.

Along the way the President nearly lost his voice, which grew increasingly hoarse as he spoke, his ending remarks barely audible.

Every other news source reported this event without the Fox-like headline you created. Why don't you folks just come
clean and admit your just another Fox News outlet. Interesting that buried deep into the article you tell of supporters
    yelling down the hecklers. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I remember when people wore anti-Bush t-shirts at Bush rallies, they were thrown out as soon as they got in. At an Obama rally, you can shout anti-Obama slogans all you want and carry a gun and no one will do a thing

I find it intresting that when BUSHIE was dictator this station never broadcast any of the very many protests and riots that broke out whenever he went out in public but are ready to jump on and report a heckler or any other actions they can to cast a negative vote for Obama. I needed to go to LINK TV to find out how bad BUSHIE was doing because CNN had only praise for the MORON who BANCKRUPTED America and killed thousands and thousands of innocent people. What a Biased outlet CBB is. Owned by right wing lunatic fringe hawk right militant JEWS I guess it figures and what a shame it is I would be ashamed to be employed by such a slanted propaganda machine.

Dems need money to go to middle class and poor, so they can spend at the store, supermarkets, store at the mall and restaurants. This wiii creat demand in our local economy and spur business to hire and give mainstreet demand power again. They must stop the repugs from cutting jobs and programs. To the people who does the demand in our local economy that creat jobs, then give tax break to the rich who then turn over seas because mainstreet have no money to demand nothing so they are left out the loop.

  5. Democrats mount up!!!!!

The only way to fight the Republican hate money machine is with our votes. We must over whelm them at the ballot box and leave them wondering. What happen? We must prove the pundits wrong that the young, old, black, white. latino, asia, indian and people with common sense will vote to move this country forward. This must be the biggest upset in politcal history and we need a historical vote to do it! let's go to work!

I think all this campaigning to support candidates who will rally behind his socialist policies is wearing him out.
    He needs a vacation.

Good works by the best President in generations during some tough times. Change is hard – embracing failure and a message of "Can't", "Won't", "Don't", "No" is easy. America isn't a country of losers or wimps who won't try – even if the dialog has temporarily been hijacked by the crowd that thinks that – since they've got theirs – their responsibilities are over. Move On America!

I'd lose my voice too trying to talk sense into this idiot country. Hard getting your ideas across to a bunch of Fox news watching, texting, Ed Edd and Eddy viewers.

Obama and the Left insisted we spend a trillion dollars on a 'stimulus bill', the cornerstone which would be 'shovel-ready jobs'. Now Obama himself admits there is no such thing as a shovel-ready job. Then NYT columnist David Brooks admits to Jim Leher on PBS News Hour that Obama told him a year ago that 'shovel-ready' jobs were BS. Now Mark Shields comes out on PBS and says the Democrats are making up the whole campaign finance scandal against the Republicans. On top of this news comes out today that Democrats are abandoning races in 12 states and the economy and wars are both worsening. Obama and Progressive Liberalism is a total disaster!

Here we have one of the most thoughtful, intelligent presidents that we have had in years, one who is doing as much as he can to right this sinking ship that came from the bush administration and how do people treat him? It is shameful. I know the last buffoon was only treated well because people were afraid after 9-11 and then he was the war president and it was unpatriotic to say bad things about him, but he was the absolute worst president we have ever had. Couldn't even speak the language.

All robots. BTW – he can suggest he may be funding AIDS research more than republicans, but the Bush administration still has him beat at that if you look at the numbers. I personally don't care either way, I'm just saying, anecdotal arguments are for dummies.

We love you President Obama. Keep up the fight! Your true followers have faith in you and know you are doing all you can to straighten out the mess that was left to you. And tell fakey Palin where she can go when she trys attacking Mrs Obama. Palin and her tribe are a blemish on our country and should just leave if they don't want to work toward solutions of the problems that they created in the last 10 years.

It should be a crime to disrespect the president. These bigots have to stop at some place and time. Too bad the person standing next to the heckler don't knock the heckler's teeth out.

Geez, show the man some respect, he is OUR President, he deserves some respect. You do not have to agree with him even slightly, but you should still act civil and show the man some respect. If I hop over to the Fox News website right now, all of the comments will refer to the President as "Obummer" or some deviation of that.

Give the poor guy a break, he'd be getting a lot more of the stuff done he promised he would if the right wasn't so bent on blocking everything he tries to pass. Plus, he's still only halfway through his term.
