Obama stumps for Boxer in new ad

(CNN) - Embattled California Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer's campaign released a new radio ad Monday that features President Barack Obama reaching out to voters on Boxer's behalf.

In the ad, entitled "Shoulder to Shoulder," the president says, "This is Barack Obama. On November 2, California has a choice, and the stakes couldn't be higher. I'm asking you to get out and vote for Senator Barbara Boxer."

Obama advocates for Boxer's stance on energy, financial regulation and taxes.

"Whether it's new clean energy jobs or leading the fight against tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas, she's determined to get the words 'Made in America' on our products again," Obama says.

The ad will air in the Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego and Sacramento markets.

California Republican Senate candidate Carly Fiorina's campaign responded to the ad.

"Barbara Boxer should be ashamed of herself for putting the president of the United States up to participating in this latest installment of her desperate and deceptive advertising campaign to save her political career," Fiorina spokeswoman Andrea Saul said in the statement. "Barbara Boxer talks all the time about how she wants to see the words 'Made in America' again, but ads like these make it clear the word she really wants to see again is 'senator' in front of her name for another six years."

Yea, Boxer's going to win. If I had to choose between someone who backs Palin vs. someone who backs the President, I'm going with the sane one who backs the President.

Obama had better come stump for Boxer! She's his guaranteed YES vote for anything he wants, regardless of whether it's going to work or whether it's just payback for big liberal supporters.

I would rather vote for Carly Fiorina. Boxer represents Obama where Fiorina will represent Californians and Americans. Obama is not even a California resident!

I wonder if Bush and Cheney will campaign for Fiorina. She wants to add 3.5 trillion dollars to the national debt by extending the Bush tax cuts. That might make our great great grandchildren responsible for republican irresponsibility.

Fiorina is complaining that President Obama is helping Sen. Boxer? I thought all the wingnuts wanted him to help candidates, I'll bet that Bush and Cheney will help Fiorina at a moments notice.

And I am asking you to think and consider the damage already done to our economy by these two, do you think Barney Frank and Maxine Waters should be held accountable for their parts in the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac destruction? Same CNN financial report indicated that the mortgage giants were so miserabley screwed that they were not included in the legislation recently passed and it would take years to straighten out the damage done by these bundlers. They will have to be dealt with on their own as they are such a complete and utter disasters, yeah, I want Washington handling my healthcare....how about that Boxer and her Green BS with the fraudulent California studies...

Thank you Obuma!! I was worried that Boxer might be able to pull this off and keep her job but now that you have campaigned on her behalf she is as good as gone!! You are the bad luck charm of EVERY Democrat you have campaigned with so now that your name is so closely associated with Barbara "I have earned the right to be called Senator" Boxer that there is NO WAY she can win now!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!

Go Boxer! Go Obama! Go Democrats!

All the Republicans have to offer are tried-and-failed policies, a bunch of lunatic candidates and a professed desire to dismantle Social Security, Medicare, VA benefits, public education, the Department of Education and the Department of Energy.

The choice is simple come November 2: Either we continue drive forward (D) with the policies that pulled us back from the brink of another Great Depression and are slowly turning our country around

or throw it in reverse (R) and finish off the Middle Class once and for all.

Vote for America = Vote Democratic!

I'm so happy Barak Obama has campaigned for Barbara Boxer! Never has a Senator done so LITTLE for her constituents in 28 years than Barbara Boxer. That's a record worth crowing about! I only hope Barbara is properly rewarded by Barack's endorsement! If his track record holds it's the kiss of death...something long overdue for Barbara!!!!

Barbara Boxer wants" Made in America" on our products again. Carly Fiorina sent jobs overseas when she was CEO of HP. I know who I would vote for. The choice is yours.

Boxer is a rubber stamp for Obama's job killing Agenda. She's just another spend beyond your means California Democrat. Kind of like teen age kids with daddy's credit card. The skies the limit. Pathetic and I can see Obama wanting to save Boxer knowing she will be there for his next Country destroying policy. Very sad.

  19. Watergate all over?

Veterans group file complaint with the FEC against Chamber of Commerce for receiving foreign monies to sway midterm elections. Here's the real kicker. We have veterans running in this midterms and foreign monies used to defeat them. It's gets worse, then you have our armed services fighting in wars overseas and the Chamber of Commerce is taking foreign monies to ship their job overseas. WTF? This is a slap in the face to all veterans and our armed services. The Republicans/Tea Party should denounce this at once.

What a travisty if the senate loses the majority then we would have to put up with mcconely for the next four years. The american people have gone slap out of their dog gone minds. What logic are they seeing. Is this an euphoria of emotions that have nothing to do with logic nor rationality that sweeping the country. Then you bitch about the president not following your every demand. The president job is to safe guard the american people interest not to bow down to every emotional tantrum they make. People is time you realise youve got americas future in your hand and every decision have to be think through carefully, analize, and consider future reprocussion, not clouding your minds with anger, fear, intollerance and lies that the repugs been pouring on you for the past two years.
