Wife of Clarence Thomas asks Anita Hill to consider an apology
(CNN) - The wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas said Tuesday that she reached out to Anita Hill, whose accusations of sexual harassment almost derailed Thomas' high court nomination 19 years ago.
In a statement to CNN, Virginia "Ginni" Thomas said: "I did place a call to Ms. Hill at her office extending an olive branch to her after all these years, in hopes that we could ultimately get passed what happened so long ago. That offer still stands, I would be very happy to meet and talk with her if she would be willing to do the same. Certainly no offense was ever intended."
Hill, a law professor at Brandeis University, turned the message over to campus security, a university spokesman said.

Tell the dimwit Thomas that he should make the apology. That boy is not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. Take a look at the number of questions he is asking when there are arguments before the high court. Very rarely if ever does he ask a question.
Anita Hill does not own Clarence Thomas an apology; he owns her a apology. His wife needs to shut her mouth and crawl back under the rock she came from.

I have a better idea. How about Mrs. Thomas apologize to all of America for the unqualified, non-responsive extremist of a jurist that we're all stuck with for a very long time?

I saw the testimony and hearing on TV. Definitely believe her experience. It's not unusual for women to encounter some harrassing or uncomfortable male behavior in their workplace life. You don't expect it to happen as much in higher profile jobs but it does happen.
Anita Hill should apologize. Clarence Thomas is a great American. Liberals to include the Media attacked Mr. Thomas because he is a African American Conservative. When Clarence Thomas speaks people listen. Anita Hill not only owes Mr. Thomas and his family a apology, she also owes the American people a apology.
So the cat got your husband tongue. So I guess he feeling guilty after all these years. I hope the both of you get what coming to you.
I'm glad Anita Hill called the police. Thomas' wife has no right to harass her. He should rein her in because she is acting crazy, and dangerous.

Mrs. Thomas is in denial. Her husband should of apologized a long time ago for his sexist behavior toward Anital Hill who rebuffed him. Her husband is a disgrace to the bench. Anita Hill had tremendous courage to come forward with her testimony at the hearings. God Bless Anita Hill.
