Obama says he should have advertised policies better

(CNN) - President Barack Obama told a friendly backyard gathering on Thursday that he was so focused on getting the policy right on helping the economy recover that he didn't devote enough energy to advertising the benefits.

Asked about the negative perception many Americans have about signature legislation of his first two years in office, Obama said opponents of reform fought hard against it and he could have done more to sell it.

Glad Obama realizes that he forgot to take into account public ignorance of the policies passed in the last two years. Most people don't know how the country has benefited from your policies. The public always expects miracles from landslide elections.

It wasn't the bad advertising. It was the bad product. Americans have had enough of this administration's excuses.

We are sending Washington DC a mandate on November 2nd. Cut government spending. Replace ObamaCare with a plan that reduces health care costs, not raises them. Reduce the size of the Federal Government to only what is necessary and affordable. Get the Federal Government out of the way of private industry and let private industry drive our economy back up. Deliver results not promises and excuses.

  6. Vote Democrats!!!

President your message was loud and clear. The media (CNN) focus on the 10% of your what went wrong and never mention 90% what went right. CNN is blow it rather then helping Americans to understand the laws. They put pundits against each other to keep people confuse. CNN stand for something. If the laws will help 90% of the people then stand for it. let Foxs News talk about the 10%.

Lies and misinformation swirled around you Mr. President. You were naive in taking the high road and thinking that people would see the GOP for the lying, racist, greedy, for-business bigots that they are. By the time you started reminding folks how long it took Bush to put us in this mess, and tried to highlight the benefits of your policies, folks were already caught up in the world of FAUX and the half-termer wannabe.
It is not too late Mr. President. You've got nothing to lose and everything to gain. In spite of ALL the lies and the millions that Big Business is pouring into the GOP because you WON'T play ball with them, Americans still stand with you and defend you.
You said sir that you were not elected to do what was popular, bu to do what was right, I say then to you find your center. Govern from that place that made you fight for some form of healthcare for us, for Wall Street Reform, for everything that you've done to help the middle class. Govern from there Mr. President. Screw what the GOP will say and do, and walk in the light of righteousness, and speak with the strenght of millions behind you.
    God Bless America.

People still forget the president has only been in office for less then two. It took Bush Eight year to destroy the country by his policies. Give the man a chance to bring us back from brink of destruction

If Mr. Obama and the rest of the Liberals understand the message the conservatives try too convey but still disagree in the end then it's not a matter of selling your point of view better its just that the other side does not agree with you. So long as he refuses too face the reality that the slight majority of Americans are center right he will lose in two years. We understand what your trying too sell since we are not stupid we just dont agree and it's Mr. Obama and company that need too change not the rest of America.

The best advertising in the world wouldn't be able to sell an overreaching, overspending, overtaxing, overtly divisive agenda - it's Socialism Mr. Obama and we're not buying it!

On November 2nd, vote for the American principles of freedom and liberty, vote for a free market economy, vote for individual opportunity, vote conservative, vote Republican.
