Jeb Bush says 'you betcha' about Palin

(CNN) - Former Florida Republican Governor, Jeb Bush said Friday he isn't running for president, but would support Sarah Palin if she were to run.

In an interview with CNN Chief National Correspondent John King Friday, Bush - whose brother and father are former presidents - said he'd support former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin if she were the Republican presidential nominee in 2012.

"You betcha," Bush said in an interview set to air on CNN's John King, USA at 7 p.m. ET Friday.

And what kind of Republican does he think would make a good 2012 candidate?

"Big and bold and aspirational that has a positive agenda that will compare, I think favorably to that of the president," Bush said. "We can't just be against the president's proposals, we have to offer up compelling alternatives."

He also weighed in on the current race for governor in Florida, saying there has been a lot of "throwing mud back and forth," but not enough talk about specific issues.

"The election, up until now, has been… a lot of negative things and not trying to lift our spirits as a state," Bush said. "There's a cloud over Florida right now, as it is over the country so being specific about what you want to do, I think will be a good thing."

John King will moderate the Florida gubernatorial debate Monday night at 7 p.m. ET.

Jeb, let me explain; I'll use little words for you. Sarah is not running for anything ever again. Sarah is an ENTERTAINER. She's just like Rush, and Bill and all the rest, except that she has actually run for and even held office. She quit government so that she could make lots of money telling dumb people that they are smart. She isn't leading anything any more. She's just making money by entertaining dumb people.

You would support her for president? Jeb, Jeb, what does that tell all of us about you?

Jeb is just providing us with yet another 'smoke and mirror' distraction by 'publicly' saying that he would support Palin if she ran for President.
The GOP has not forgotten, nor will they EVER forget that SHE cost them (at least in their eyes) the Presidency.
Sarah for President? Not gonna happen. Jeb endorsing this non-event? Who cares? We're not dealing in the realm of reality here.
.....But it does get the old juices going doesn't it? And CNN sits back and enjoys the attention, and the show. Simple-minded, yet effective attempt to once again spin and control the populace. Fortunately I'm done for the day.

Oh,cause we didnt see planes hit the towers, huh?your a moron if you believe they were able to cover up us involvment with 9/11.your cowardice leads you to believe that blame belongs to anyone BUT the ones who did it.people cant keep secrets, and they def cant when its that big.we got attacked, and the people who did it counted on a democratic response, one that would have left us open to get hit again.it saved our asses to have a idiot in the white house who didnt care about the U.N.but youll find a way to justify your bush hatred, but also remember...bush never gave the ok to drill offshore.obama did.but you dont blame him for that,do you?moron

If there's one thing Jeb Bush knows about, it's how to get imbeciles elected to the White House. His and the Palin family have a lot in common, especially kids on drugs, etc....

You're not so smart in the head area are you? Saying things that would have made Strom Thurmond blush....in the 1950's. Here is some advice, if you have a thought that you think is clever, just let it go, or next time I will send you some links to videos of people like yourself who in the 50's and 60's though what they were saying was cool. It was sad and sick, and we laugh at it today at the STUPIDITY of it (like we will laugh at yours in 20 years), but even then it was neither clever or cool.

This is cruel and unusual punishment. Palin gets elected I'm renouncing my citizenship. Jeb you did ok in Florida, WHY WHY WHY are you backing this loser. You are better off backing Alfred E. Newman, he has a better chance of winning and he is a real cartoon character. Unreal.

If Palin, Oconnell, Miller and Angle get in the door all that means is that something very sinister is about to go down – Cheney and Rove will be running the Government. If Nevada, Alaska and Delaware are that damn stupid – take their socialist dollars away with Medicare and Social Security. I can not believe American have become so stupid. If is based on racism, wake up stupid the country is going to be all Mexican within the next 10 years. Wake up and smell the coffee stuip. I suggest the Dems be proactive the Republicans will cheat, cheat, and cheat on election day.

I absolutely love that Jeff (way up there at the top of the thread) calls people uneducated when he can't even spell ATHEISTS correctly. I'm not going to call him a total idiot, but I am of the mind that if you want to question someone else's intelligence, yours had better be above reproach.

There are two Repubs in California who also sought Palin's endorsement. Of course as soon as they learned that the majority of voters wouldn't vote for a candidate endorsed by Palin they stopped taking her calls. You gotta love those Repubs, they do know how to cut and run.

This election in a few days is the first referendum on Obama and the Democrat Party and its leadership.

I hope the Democrats brought their life-jackets. In 2012, they'll need their barf bags.
