AFL-CIO steps up get-out-the-vote effort

Washington (CNN) - AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka has a blunt message for labor union members: Get to the polls next week, because "as bad as things are, they can get a whole lot worse."

As part of a massive get-out-the-vote operation, the labor federation is sending out 10 million personalized letters from Trumka as a final mailing to its membership Monday. Enclosed with each letter is a detailed "slate card" tailored to each member. It lists all of the state-wide candidates endorsed by labor, as well as the candidates for the House of Representatives and the state legislature. The card includes the person's polling place and information about what kind of identification they may need to bring.

I wonder of they gave Obama an Official AFL-CIO member card so that he can show who he really belongs to.

Yes get out and vote or the Republicans will lower the minimum wage! They will continue to send your jobs overseas and have foreign money buy our elections. They will continue to sell out America. The Democrats tried to pass a bill called Made in America and they were against it. They were also against unemployment benefits. President Obama is trying to help you earn a better living. The Republicans want to pay you less to protect their buddies who own big corps. You choose.

Unions as they exist in our nation are a primary cause of the current state of America's economy.
If we had the cooperation from labor that exists in Asia and Europe, all of our citizens would have better lives.
Almost the last persons that I would ask how to vote would be union leaders.
Among the last I would ask how to vote: Marx, Lenin, Chairman Mao, and Obama.

Yeah and they will be in the grave yards getting names for their voters as well. Unions are crooked thugs but even they can't stop this wave that is about to hit. Unions know that Republicans won't give them money and will not let them continue their criminal activity. Obama works for Unions first!

The U.S. Union workers know that for decades the Teapublicans have been making it very easy for U.S. Companies to SHIP U.S. JOBS overseas! What I want to know is HOW anyone could vote for the Republicans when they refused to vote for a bill that would penalize U.S. Companies that SHIP U.S. JOBS....... overseas??????! WHY?

In NOvember vote NO for the Party of NO! Because saying NO to everything is NOT.......leadership!
