Reid ad: Angle would be a disaster
(CNN) - As Nevada's bitter and bruising Senate race nears its end, Sen. Harry Reid is hoping that voters look past the rancor and focus squarely on jobs.
A new ad released by Reid's campaign over the weekend combines a series of damning newspaper quotes about his opponent, former state Assemblywoman Sharron Angle, with a bipartisan line-up of Nevada business leaders to make the case that Angle's positions would make the state's already troubling unemployment problem even worse.
"Electing Sharron Angle would cost thousands of jobs," says one executive.
"She will be a knockout punch for Nevada's economy," adds another.
And MGM Resorts CEO, Jim Murren – a Republican – says of Reid that, "there is nobody who has done more for the state."
The ad ends with an on-screen quote from the Reno Gazette Journal to hammer the message home: "Replacing Senator Reid with Sharron Angle would be a disaster."
The Angle campaign in turn has run a torrent of brutal ads against Reid. Angle released four ads last week alone hammering Reid's personal wealth, charging that he is out of touch with Nevadans because he lives in a Washington D.C. Ritz-Carlton condo while his state has the highest foreclosure rate in the country.
With a week before Election Day, Reid has also enlisted the help of some big names, including Vice President Joe Biden, and President Barack Obama, who stopped by a rally for Reid in Las Vegas on Friday night. Angle claimed that Obama's visit helped her campaign raise over $200,000 in online contributions.
Reid and Angle remain deadlocked in the polls.
Angle already is a disaster. NV is in for some bad days if they make this mistake.
Obama's visit helped Angle raise $200,000? I wonder how that compares to the $14 million that came to her from unknown sources. Angle will eventually have to vote in favor of foreign corporations and billionaires who knew she would be easy to bribe. Her having juice with DeMint will not help Nevadans nor create jobs.
Harry Reid is the most toxic weasel there is. He is the lowest form of life and it will be a relief to finally see that skunk gone.
If you are a woman and want the government controlling your vagina, then, by all means, vote for this bi-pedal vacuous vagina!

For someone attacking Reid's wealth, all I ever hear from Angle is her pride in how much money she's getting in campaign contributions! She's obsessed with money, won't do anything unless it benefits her monetarily. There is not a single candidate I'd like to see go down in flames more than this Beast. Nevada will be the butt of all jokes if they elect her.

Sharron Angle is extreme and dangerous. Women especially should not vote for her. Her views about women who are raped , incest or mother's life, still having to keep the baby is crazy. What if you had a daughter in that situation? Social Security–58% of women 65 and over depend on SS. She wants to privatize it. Do you really want to trust your S.S. to the banks or Wall Street? Vets do you want your benefits privatized? Do you want Medicare privatized ? That's what she wants. Do you want the Dept. of Education abolished? This woman is nuts. Think of your children. Not to mention healthcare they want to repeal. Please go out and vote. No one will know what you do in that voting booth. Your choice. I know mine.
That is quite humorous, Harry Reid actually calling Angle Reckless (Obmacare), Radical (diversion from our Constitution), and extreme (800,000 jobs for 8 billion dollars)? What the hell does he think Pelosi, Reid and Obama are?

How much more of a "disaster" is 14 percent unemployment, the highest home foreclosure in the country, and one of the highest tax in the country? That is exactly what he has brought to the State of Nevada. Now he's claiming that it would be a disaster if Angle is to replace him? I'm not a fan of Angle, but at this point, a 10 year old can do a better job than him. NO ONE can be more of a "disaster" than him right now.

Folks, use your heads! Harry Reid could have stayed in private law practice, making tons of money and more lucrative investments, but instead, he chose to serve the people of Nevada and our country.
He started from humble beginnings, pulled himself up by his bootstraps, realized the American dream – and decided to give back and help ensure others would have the same opportunities that he did.
And Angle? Her ideas are looney – and frankly, quite cold and heartless (eliminating Medicare and Social Security; forcing a rape victim to carry the baby). She has a rep from her days in Nevada politics as being obstructionist and a bit daft.
Good people of Nevada – use your heads and vote to re-elect Harry Reid! He's on your side, as he's proven time and time again.
FEAR AND SMEAR, thats all Reid has. Angle's adds call attention to teh truth about Harry Reid, she talks about his Party's failed policies and his his dismal record as leader of the Senate since 2007.
If CNN was honest, instead of Wolf Blitzer laughing about the DEMOCRAT CANDIDATE for Gov in RI telling the President to "Shove It", he would report the truth about the wholesale repudiation of PresidentObama's agenda by HIS OWN PARTY. This didn't even happen to the hated George Bush in the 2006 Congressional elections.
