(CNN) - Former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich, who's mulling a run for the White House, appeared Wednesday at the school founded by Jerry Falwell to address students and to meet with key conservative Christian activists from across the country.
In a speech to students at Liberty University on Wednesday morning, Gingrich said that Americans needed to fight back against secular socialists, including President Barack Obama, at home and against Islamic radicals around the world.
funny how a school founded by the Rev Jerry Falwell had NO problem allowing a known adulter to come speak at their scholl, but I guess we Christians ARE a rather forgiving lot. Better I'm sure than having a Kenyan secular socialistlike President Obama speak there. Next time Newt try your act at a REAL university!
6 days more for the first result then 3 to 5 months for real out put
After 5 moths I think you may have to listen to us Mr.GingRich
Oh Noes! Not a socialist... how dare he care about people!
is this guy for real? Gingrich is sounding scarier by the day!
These right wing conservatives need to stop the name calling. Obama and the democrats are not "socialist" or near being a true socialist. Would it be fair to say right wingers are facist? no.
First it was secular humanists. Now it's secular socialists. These troglodytes sit around just thinking up names to call those they disagree with, and the presstitutes take them seriously. Meanwhile, Newt is trying to convince people he's Richard the Lionhearted, leading a crusade against the paynim defiling the Holy Land, and hoping nobody notices he's actually emulating Bad King John sitting home, fat, lecherous, and greedy at the people's expense while better than he die in the endless wars.
While I personally am not crazy about Gingrich, I do think he is very intelligent and has the right ideas.
Someone explain to Newt that: 1) The US is supposed to be secular in terms of its government; 2) Someone in the GOP needs to define 'socialism' before they throw it around like a football; and 3) That he'll never have enough support for president, so he shouldn't bother trying.
