CNN Boiling Point documentary...boils on Saturday and Sunday

For the past few months CNN has traveled from the Gulf of Alaska to the Gulf of Mexico, and several small towns and big cities across the country, profiling the Tea Party movement - arguably the most powerful, and controversial, political force of this election cycle.

Now, it's time to show what was caught on tape.

CNN's "Boiling Point: Inside the Tea Party" will air this Saturday, October 30, at 8 pm Eastern. It re-airs again on Sunday, October 31 also at 8pm ET. CNN Political Producer Shannon Travis hosts the one-hour documentary.

Key politicians heard from in the documentary include Sarah Palin, Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski, Delaware GOP Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell, Utah Sen. Robert Bennett, Alaska GOP Senate candidate Joe Miller, Pennsylvania Sen. Arlen Specter and other lawmakers.

Viewers also hear from key Tea Party figures, including the woman many people consider to be a sort of "God mother" to the movement.

Also, check out the CNN website dedicated to the documentary here.

Bunch of goofy numb-nutts who believe anything their fox celebrities or Limpball feeds them. Basically a sad bunch of selfish and delusional nehanderthals who want to go back to the good old days that never were.

  2. TSUNAMI WARNING: Expected loss of Socialist DemocRATS EXTENSIVE

let me guess?! A last minute hit job by CNN and desperate leftists trying to avoid being swept into the dustbin of history? CNN has already been swept away buy the tsunami named Fox News. The Progressive Soicialist DemocRATS will be swept away by the tsunami named Tea Party (conservatives). Good riddance to both!

The tea party has been so powerful they have prevented the Republicans from taking the Senate by trying to elect idiots like O'Donnell. Good job, guys.

Don't you just love the way CNN puts a Palin story and picture on the Ticker every day. Great support thank you.

The Tea Party is a farce – a hollow pseudo political movement dominated predominantly by older, angry, untraveled, but most importantly WHITE bigots. Where are their ‘actual’ solutions? Simply put, there simply are none; none at all.
The Tea Party very much enjoys the freedom to spout and spew whatever laughable meaningless slogans they can think of like ‘Restoring Honor’… If you wrap stupid catch phrases like this in a car dealership sized flag sealed with an American fabricated bastardization of European Christianity and, bingo, you have yourself a ‘movement’….or one of a bowel persuasion.
How many Tea Partiers actually realize that in 25-30 years, Conservative bigoted Whites are going to be a noticeable minority in this country; and their future looks as bright as the dinosaurs when the first snowflake hit the ground…. That’s truly the saving grace.

8:00 pm eastern, that's 7:00 pm central, nope, Sunday night football or the Amazing Race will be on. I don't want to see anything on the Tea Party. No name calling or anything like that, just 100% disagree with them. Nothing More.

the only reason they have any power is due to the media, we'll see how much power this small group really has 11/2/10; the teaparty is corporate & media made, if not, sad day for the USA...

A real grassroots movement from the real middle class would attract my attention, but not this phony front backed by wealthy non-disclosed donors. Most of these tea party people are deceived and being led astray by pawns like Palin, Beck, Hannity, DeMint, Cornyn, Gingrich (and the list goes on) accepting money from wealthy donors and big business interests.

It's "power" comes from 24/7 non-stop media coverage. Not saying the TP doesn't represent a segment of America, but the way the media portrays it, the TP represents the "majority" of America. You are giving it outsized importance. How about some balance?

This is truly a sad time for America, what with all the in-fighting, trash-talk, and ugly rhetoric that is being spewed. And worse than that, these politicians (and I use that term loosely when referring to tea-partiers as politicians!) will end up spending in excess of $4 BILLION DOLLARS! What in the world has happened to common sense?! As a voter I find all of this appalling and can only hope that people will think about this and see that spurious attacks amongst the candidates and spending vast amounts of money does not make a "government by the people and for the people". Get a grip, people!!

Based on the headline and pols like Specter and Merkowski who are casualties of the Tea Party, this is sure to be a not so subtle hit piece from CNN.

The polls are showing O'donnell gaining in De as well as other candidates, the undecided are breaking for the Republicans in a big way.

"TRENDING: Murkowsi 'shameful,' Palin says at rally for Miller" -- I guess Murkowsi did not want to pay the extortion money.

This should be a bit of an eye opener. The Tea Party is kind of like the GOP in a Wayne Gacy clown outfit..............

    CNN Boiling Point documentary...
That is an interesting yet conveniently misleading headline, and title to your mockumentary CNN. Here's the thing: boiling, (reaching) boiling point all imply a non-immediate process. Such was not the case with the advent of the Teabaggers. The Teabaggers were a clear and direct response to the election of Barack Obama. They came under the very thin cover of responding to his policies....escept for the fact that there were NONE to respond to days into his Presidency.
So stop with the bullcrap pretense, just for today will you? The only CREDIBLE BOILING POINT that the Tbaggers express could've reached within mere days of Obama's election was........OBAMA'S ELECTION!!! Let your "investigative" journalists connect the dots.
    Period. End of subject.

Very vocal minority that does not deserve the attention they are getting. Focus on the grown ups, forget these losers.

...But don't worry, I'll watch it. I very much like to hear other's perspectives. Hopefully yours will be expressed clearer, and more cogently than that dingbat you like to write so much about.

It will be interesting to see if they show the whole truth about the tea-party movement or if they filmed the lefts party crashers doing wierd things and use sound bites taken out of context to try to do a character assasination on the movement to try and get a last ditch effort in to save the democraps....

It will be iteresting to see if CNN puts a liberal, moderate or conservative slant on this documentary. I find it interesting they are airing this prior to the election rather than after. hehh?

Don't worry CNN you are going to get a taste of what was caught on tape by watching what gets caught on the voting machines during this election..I'll bet it will taste quite bitter for a liberal Democrat!

What a coincidence. the "documentary" will air 3 days prior to the election. CNN should call Dan Rather. I believe he has a George W. Bush / National Guard story he's still peddling.
