Murkowsi 'shameful,' Palin says at rally for Miller

(CNN) – Amid polls showing a neck-and-neck Senate race in Alaska, Sarah Palin offered a hearty endorsement of Republican nominee Joe Miller Thursday night and called incumbent Sen. Lisa Murkowski's actions "shameful."

"Let's call her the candidate for the entitlement party," Palin proclaimed of Murkowski at the evening rally with Miller at her side. "She can't really find a party. Not independent, not Republican."

Palin's endorsement of the once little-known Miller is credited with helping fuel his surprise victory over Murkowski in the August primary with 51 percent of the vote. Murkowski conceded her party's nomination, but later launched a general election write-in candidacy.

There has long been no love lost between Palin and Murkowski, a fact that was on clear display Thursday as the former Alaska governor took aim at the incumbent senator's campaign tactics.

"The opponent would rather waste the voters time by throwing this mud at Joe!" said Palin, visibly appearing angry. "And this campaign that is throwing this mud is being run by a lot of beltway lobbyists."

Palin also sharply criticized Murkowski's actions in the latest debate between the candidates.

"I find it shameful ... this establishment party politician, shamefully used Joe Miller's honorable military service as a means to attack him," said Palin.

During the contentious debate earlier this week, Murkowski asked Miller, "What would your instructors, what would your classmates at West Point say about how well you have lived up to your code of honor?"

But at the rally Thursday night, Palin indicted the "lame-stream media" for not fully conveying Miller's record of military service.

"I read his resumé, I read his accomplishments, I read his passion for America and I think, 'Are we even fit to tie his combat boots?'" she asked.

You are not getting the truth from the left, and you are not getting the truth from the lame-stream media about the real Joe Miller," she added, noting Miller served in the Gulf War and was awarded a Bronze Star.

A recent CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll shows a deadlocked race between Murkowski and Miller among likely voters at 37 percent. Sitka Mayor Scott McAdams, the Democrats' nominee trails with 28 percent.

I wonder if Sara would have stood up for John Kerry's military record when he was dragged through the mud by her ilk!!

Princess Palin, if you think that is shameful, what would you call what draft dodger Rove and the GOP dirty tricks squad did to John Kerry who won the Silver Star. Its called swiftboating little Sarah. Go ask your own party how it works.

Isn’t Murkowski doing exactly what Palin would do – not retreating, but reloading?

Shameful? Shameful? This from the person that quit her job as Gov to
1.) raise money for her PAC which in turn bought her books to give her the money
2.) raise hate to a new level across the country by appealing to low information voters
3.) parade her family across America rather than staying home an caring for them
4.) charging rape victims for rape kits
Yep gotta admit SHE KNOWS SHAMEFUL....What a JOKE she is

Oh, she actually spent some time in Alaska? I guess there was no first class flight or hotel suite for her to lay around in. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Palin is the one who should be ashamed.

What's shameful is Palin quitting the job that she was elected to do. At least Murkowski wants to keep serving the people of Alaska.

  7. Whatever

So what is Palin???? Is she no longer a Republician? Is the Tea Party a third party able to run for higher office?! Mrs. Consitution Know It All – – You can only run as a Republician (the establishment party)!!!!! Now if you run for office you will need the "lame stream media" to win a general election!!! Good luck with that endeavor!! Amazing that anyone would consider casting a vote for her! WOW

Palin said,”… I read his passion for America.” What does that even mean?

Oh, God, Palin again. Why doesn't she go back to Alaska and spend the rest of her life eating moose stew, chasing polar bears and keeping her obnoxious mouth shut?????

Sarah is correct, more focus should be on his military record. After seeing the can of worms that is his employment history, no doubt there is more unsettling stuff in his military history. Why didn't he fulfill his commitment working for the taxpayers after receiving a fully paid education at West Point? What is his significant medical disability and how much is he receiving per month for the disability. The disability does not seem to be physical and a mental disorder could adversely affect his ability to function in a position of responsibility like senator. Joe Miller is a smooth talker and presents himself very well but the voters should see the red flags in that everyone who has ever worked with the guy in his capacity as a lawyer was creeped out by him and happy to see him out of their lives.

I said it earlier and I'm saying it again now. This woman Palin is tearing the GOP apart. There is no way GOP can make it if it is divided into two parts. She is very toxic to the Party.

Granted, we have a free speech in this country, but a mentally ill and a confused imbecile like Sarah barracuda should be prevented from even getting close to a microphone.

OMG! Look how is talking about not finding a party. This media ho flip flopped from being a Democrat to a rethug to a teabagger. She just goes where the money is and where she thinks she can get her adoring public (pardon me while I puke) to give her adoration she so richly doesn't deserve.
If anyone is a shameful piece of human trash it's the half term governor. Quitter, you are not fit to not just tie his combat boots (LOL) but to even lick them. Didn't your eunuch bully of a husband e-mail him at how mad you were because he didn't endorse you for president? You are one hypocrital witch aren't you? Did he kneel in front of you so that you could help him. Alaskans are ashamed of you and yours and they would rather you stay away from AK at all cost. We don't want you down in the lower 48 either so go back to whatever planet you came from. That is, if they will take you back.
I do see that you still run those "thoughts" and sentences together and still can't make sense about anything. Have you defaced any American flags lately by signing them? Just wondering.

Let's see...Palin accuses Murkowski of slinging mud. She should know as she's been slinging it and other things for quite awhile now. it's a mystery to me why the good folks of Alaska would listen to someone who quit on them as their governor in order to make millions of dollars for herself. There is a deep hatred in her voice and message that sounds very strange coming from someone who is supposedly a Christian. She's back in Alaska now stumping and slinging for Miller because the race has become close and her reputation is on the line as she has endorsed him. If he loses, so does she in a way. I am glad Murkowski ran and would think the good citizens of Alaska would be also as it truly gives them now more choices. She has a right to run. Frankly, I for one wish we all had more choices than we often do. Maybe I need to move to Alaska.

What is truly shameful are the unqualified, incompetent, radical candidates Pallin supports.
She, along with the republicans do not care about the survival, improvement of us or our country, only winning
    at any cost.
Voters, we cannot let politicians, who have goals such as complete gridlock for the next two years, destroy
President Obama and have sold us down the river for Wall St, big business and the wealthy, regain control.
They do not represent the American people.

The upside of this woman running all over the country for her vile little speaking engagements is that it increases her chances of dying in a fiery plane crash.

I can see the handwriting on the wall- Murkowski will have the last laugh. On election-day, the anti-Palin camp plus the pro-Murkowski camp will come together for pragmatic reasons and a simple political arithmetic will be evident for all to see.

There she goes again with that name calling and hating and screeching. How's that work in your life, Darling, personal and professional? Do the kids of the hubby listen to your advice or tune you out? Do 90% of the population think you're a nut job? Maybe you should tone it down just a notch or two. Rework your image, as a thinkin', not stinkin', grizzly. Ya' think mebe that'd work for ya?
