Poll shows surge for O'Donnell in Delaware
(CNN) - A surprising new Senate poll in Delaware shows Republican Christine O'Donnell may be in striking distance of Democrat Chris Coons.
According to the new survey from Monmouth University, the surprise Republican nominee is only 10 points behind Coons, drawing 41 percent of the vote. In a previous Monmouth poll conducted two weeks ago, O'Donnell trailed by 19 points.
But the latest Monmouth survey differs substantially from two other recent polls, including a Farleigh Dickinson survey released Thursday that showed a 21-point advantage for Coons and a CNN/Time poll released earlier this month that indicated a 19-point lead for Coons.
The latest Monmouth poll surveyed 1,171 voters between October 25-27 and carries a sampling error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.

These are phone surveys. The only people who have unlisted ground lines anymore are old people who don't know anything about anything and are just happy to talk to anyone who gives them a call. The population of this survey is highly suspicious.

As an independent voter I can honestly say that I would NEVER vote for O'Donnell or Palin. Im not a Democrat, and I haven't been brainwashed by the "liberal media." The reason I wouldn't vote for either of these people is because for all their talk about adherence to our Constitution, they simply don't seem to have a genuine understanding of the document, or how the language of it affects the lives of poeple.
Christine is a hero to delaware! She is going to washington and we are going with her!

this is a joke who comes up with this crap if you look at all the polls around the country it looks like they are all the same what I find interesting is that when a republican is found to do something wrong there is no change in the polls going down but for no reason at all the polls change over night for going up why is that I guess that big business even has control of the polls

Have any of you seen the video of her interview on WDEL radio, she has a hired goon in the studio and she is pushing him in the face of the interviewer as an implied threat that his questions are getting to hard for her to answer.
This woman is a joke and the party that gave away its chance to win this seat by taking out Castle and replacing him with this nit wit are jokers as well.

I am willing to bet you don’t live in Delaware for if you did you would know that your hero Christine won with maybe 16% of the registered Republican electorate. She won because south of the C&D canal is a large population that still lives in the 1950’s and have an 8th grade education, probably a group you can identify with very intimately
