Poll shows surge for O'Donnell in Delaware

(CNN) - A surprising new Senate poll in Delaware shows Republican Christine O'Donnell may be in striking distance of Democrat Chris Coons.

According to the new survey from Monmouth University, the surprise Republican nominee is only 10 points behind Coons, drawing 41 percent of the vote. In a previous Monmouth poll conducted two weeks ago, O'Donnell trailed by 19 points.

But the latest Monmouth survey differs substantially from two other recent polls, including a Farleigh Dickinson survey released Thursday that showed a 21-point advantage for Coons and a CNN/Time poll released earlier this month that indicated a 19-point lead for Coons.

The latest Monmouth poll surveyed 1,171 voters between October 25-27 and carries a sampling error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.

It's no longer about left or right. we are down to sense and nonsense. How can a candidate become poplular for showing their lack of knowledge. Palin, O'Donnell and Hailey need to return home and try checking in to a Political Science class before attempting to enforce their wild ideas on this country.

Delaware should be banned from the United States if they actually elect this clown.

Enough of these polls. We might as well declare all winning candidates based on polls, and save election expenses. Polls have bombarded the electorate with so much statistics as who will win, that shaded the electorate the inform choice to whom honorable candidates are they voting. Media and pollsters are laughing with their moneys to the bank. Should the Dems become minority, do you think that only the Repubs have the monopoly of stalling good legislative agenda? Every action have its consequences. In politics when you do not have the majority, now its 60 in the senate, expect no smooth ways ahead. Please wake up, this is the reality!

News media attacked O'Donnell–her opposition made her appear to be stupid–but the real story is on the incumbents trying to get back to Washington! Yesterday I became enlightened about Obama Health Care Reform–after speaking to Social Security-Medicare-my employer (where I am currently on disability)–I found something that I am still having trouble believing–but this is true!

Obama Health Care does DISCRIMINATE AGAINST THE PEOPLE LIVING IN AMERICA! There are exemptions in compliance to the new law for Obama Health Care–

MUSLIMS/ISLAM-some POLTICIANS–President Obama- are on the LIST OF EXEMPTIONS! Pg 152 of the Obama Health Care Reform has a word in it–DHIMMITUDE excluded–(this is Muslims/Islam)–

    Blacks-Latinos-Jews–are not EXEMPT!

When it comes to disability–my employer has me active in their system–being on long term disability-eligible for discounted premiums–BUT OBAMA CARE HAS CLASSIFIED ME AS A RETIREE–Age 61--Received a letter stating due to the new law which goes into affect January, 2011–YOU ARE REQUIRED TO SIGN UP FOR MEDICARE!

Called my employer and it was confirmed– my insurance premium for the past year was only $62 a month! NOW IT WILL BE $164 a month–THEN MANDATORY MEDICARE (since Medicare doesn't pay for everything) premium is determined by your income–my income below $40,000 will be $110 PER INDIVIDUAL–making my insurance premiums $274 a month!

I say to every American–no news network work explained that certain Americans–certain citizens–illegals–will be EXEMPT!
    Latinos-Blacks-Jews-illegals-some politicians EXEMPT–

Every incumbent VOTED TO PASS THIS BILL–CLEARLY EXEMPTING SOME PEOPLE-CLEARLY DISCRIMINATING AGAINST THE REST OF AMERICANS–KICK THE INCUMBENTS OUT–MY GOD THIS IS UNFAIR–THIS WAS CLEVERLY WRITTEN IN BY OBAMA–AND NOTHING CAN BE DONE ABOUT IT–If you are not associated with the RIGHT GROUPS–you WILL NOT BE EXEMPT! This is a crime–Pelosi-Boxer-Dirty Harry–pass the word across this land via phone–let people know this horrendous act by our Govt!

    Do I like her? no.
Do I think the Dems have anything materially better? no.
So I'll vote for her as a vote against Obama as I do think his policies are harmful. FYI I voted for Clinton both times and hated the Republicans for how they went after him for what I thought were inconsequencial actions.
Obama and Pelosi now have me going right down the Rep. column on Tuesday

The choice could not be more clear. If you are for Cap & Trade, More stimulus spending, and ObamaCare, then vote for Chris Coons. Otherwise vote for Christine.

I've been reading the 'willard bullock' entries for months now and I can't figure out if this is a joke (satirizing how incredibly ignorant and illiterate some people are nowadays) or a truly stupid person who has somehow gotten ahold of a computer in the day room of the loony bin. Which do you think it is?

Who did this poll – the ones (plural) I saw and read about yesterday had him WIDENING the gap. IF the people of Delaware elect her, you get what you paid for and the rest of the senate will help pay that price.

I follow the political races closely and really try to be objective. If this person beets Coons and the other Tea Party endorsed win, the country is cutting off its nose to spite its face. If you listen to them answer questions that delve deeper into the issues, they really are very unsure and simply regurgitate rhetoric we've heard for decades. The country is slowly turning around and no thanks to the Republicans. Give the Dems two more years and then evaluate......

Hey Palin '12. It is very uncharacteristic for you neo-morons to want "substance". The very name you use to label your post screeches "no substqance". But you asked for it, so how about the utter [R] failure of Bush/Cheney for 8 years, and the resultant near-depression to our economy, for "substance". So the "substance" is: what we have now in the remnant [R]s currently in Congress and in the newly hatched Tea-tards are entities that spout a partisan NO to improving our country, even as they promote the stale policies that look more like Bush/Cheney on steroids. The very definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over again hoping for a different result. And next Tues. could be the start of the next round of [R] insanity that will only end up harming our great nation.

Most name calling did end in the 3rd grade. But that's because most 3rd graders grew up. But for those of you who didn't, you deserve the 3rd-grade name-calling. You certainly have proven you have no clue about the substantive evidence that has surrounded you for the last 10 years.

If O'Donnell actually wins it will go down as the biggest joke in election history... and Delaware will become the new "dumbest state" in America. The fact that she is even close just goes to show how ignorant/stupid the American people are! She has no plan... no ideas... no intelligent thought... but yet she is still looked upon by a percentage of the people as a viable candidate is beyond comprehension.

Americans are dumb. They have no concept of memory... and all they want is instant gratification. They want change NOW... any sort of delay in getting it now and people lose focus. They have no memory anymore on how long it actually takes for things to change!

Delaware... if you actually vote for O'Donnell it will just prove the fact that Americans are idiots. Use your brains... THINK! I know that is a difficult concept for some of you to grasp, but try it sometime... you may become a better person for it!
