GOP and Tea Party fall short in deposing Harry Reid

Las Vegas, Nevada (CNN) - Democratic incumbent Sen. Harry Reid survived a challenge by Republican candidate Sharron Angle in the Nevada Senate race Tuesday.

"Today, Nevada chose hope over fear," Reid said as he declared victory. "Nevada chose to move forward, not backward."

Reid will also keep his post as Senate majority leader. His victory helped ensure Democrats would retain control of the Senate despite the Republican gain of at least six seats.

Regardless of what I feel about Harry Reid, he deserves congratulations. He won a -very- tough race, if not the toughest one ran this election cycle.

Did lunatic angle run from the cameras or did she "man up" and give a concession speech.

Reid is not the most charismatic person out there and certainly not the most effective majority leader. The reson he won is that Angle is an idiot with no character, brains, gumption, or a basic understanding of government. She cannot articulate ideas and she has contempt for anyone who dares to disagree with her. The loss is totally on her.

I do not know how I can express my happiness that Sherry Angle did not make it. By the way is she still keeping her promise of talking to the media after the election is over?

Nevada must be happy with the highest unemployment rate in the country. They deserve it after electing the same people that caused the mess.
