(CNN) - Washington Democratic Sen. Patty Murray will serve a fourth term in the Senate after challenger Dino Rossi conceded Thursday, two days after Election Day.
Murray held a 2 point lead with 82 percent of the vote counted Thursday night.
"This evening, I called Sen. Murray to offer my congratulations on her re-election to the U.S. Senate," Rossi said in a statement.

Bravo, Patty. We love you and you're far better than that greasy Italian guy. Washington happily retairs it's reputation as a wonderful liberal state where decent people live.
We are going to need them all.
Unfortunately, democrats lost the house.
This is what a class act does.
I'm curious, is a concession legally binding for the person making it and the position it was made for?
If a week from now it's found that the person that conceded actually had more votes then the other person what would happen (I mean other then the endless court cases) would the person with the most votes be declared the winner or would the other person since Rossi conceded? Also has this ever occured in the past?
hurrah for the west coast!
No tea for us, thank you. We are well versed in Republican carnival trickery, here.
