Bush writes of anger, resolve after Sept. 11 attacks

(CNN) - The terrorist attacks on America on September 11, 2001, gave his administration a clear goal and him the resolve to find out who was responsible and "kick their ass," former President George W. Bush writes in his new book.

In "Decision Points," Bush describes his reaction when his then-National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice informed him of the crash of a third airplane into the Pentagon.

in my life i have had to make decisions that resulted in harm to others, both my fellow marines and the enemy. some of these decisions I would do differently today and some I would not. No one is perfect and all decisions can be criticized after the fact. Bush like all presidents make decisions based on what they are told, what they know and what their judgement tells them is right - just like what I had to do. His politics are one thing, his decisions are another but deep in his heart he tried to do what was best for this country. We (you) may disagree with what he did but no one can question his decision after the fact unless they would make a different decision using the same facts and arrive at a different result. We were attacked - hence the Afghanistan campaign. Iraq had threated it neighbors, had a war with iran, invaded Kuwait and used WMDs on its on people and iranian soliers. Also Saddam hussien was advertising to the world he had WMDs and in fact had the makings for chemical, biological and nuclear weapons of mass desgtruction. You give me a portion of the yellow cake and i can construct a nuclear weapon - albeit not very refined but a weapon. George Bush had the backing of the republicans and democrats, many foriegn leaders and the moderate middle east in invading iraq to disarm and dismantle the hositle regime of Saddam hussien. It may sound strange but the world is a safer place because of George Bush. give the man credit where credit is due.

Ummmm.. when UBL and the qaeda leadership were trapped in Tora Bora, letting them go was "finding them and kicking their ass?" We have VIDEO of them walking out unmolested.

And why the lack of attention? Why, Mr. bush and his evil cabal were "fixing the intelligence around the policy" of attacking Iraq. Words directly from the British government in 2002. Look up the Downing Street Memos – British insider documents show that bush was making up a case for war because none actually existed. It took time and attnetion to fake the cause for war in Iraq, and lots of men and material to go fight it - so UBL, qaeda, and the Taliban walked away and are still trying to kill US citizens and anyone allied with us to this day. If bush were not such a slime bag they would all be long forgotten and rotting in shallow graves, or their scattered carcasses long ago eaten by dogs. INstead, UBL is still there plotting and recruiting, and bush is still lying to himself and the American people.

Pres. Bush played on the weakness of human psychology – the desire for revenge when you believe you have be wronged.

Unfortunately, he did this because his presidency was adrift early on and he wanted to demonstrate "LEADERSHIP". He wanted to show that he, not Powell, Cheney, or Rumsfeld was the "DECIDER".

This is the danger American citizens face when they elect a man, or a party, without a CLEARLY communicated and approved ACTION PLAN.

This is what happens when the President isn`t a cerebral thinking man but rather one that goes with his "gut" as Bush himself has admitted many times.

In the wake of the election shenanigans in 2000 that got him the Presidency, Bush felt the need to show he deserved to be in charge and we went to war because of it.

His reaction? He sat mute for nearly 8 minutes before he realized how screwed we were. Worst President, and top 10 worst human in history.
