GOP touts energy, values of a rising star

(CNN) - Reports that incoming freshman Republican Rep. Kristi Noem is in the running for a leadership slot may have most people asking, "Who?"

Three senior House GOP leadership sources told CNN on Monday that they are planning to add a leadership slot for a freshman member, and two of the sources said that South Dakota's Noem has expressed interest in the leadership post and appears to have the backing of the GOP leadership.

    @ stayintune....

I recall it was a Republican that made a video about the "beautiful conservative women of the GOP" and they made him take it offline....he also added very ugly pictures of Democrat women even one making Michelle Obama look like a gorilla so we won't talk about groups judging over apperence will we? If so just google the women that voted for Scott Brown just because he was a "HUNK". Don't throw those stones unless you want to break your own glass house.

You're not my friend. Don't call me that until you and the rest of the conservatives can start behaving like intelligent, mature adults who base their decision-making on facts, evidence, science and expert advice instead of relying on lies, demogoguery, fabrications, misrepresentations and astroturf Frankenstein BS to push your idiot agenda. You'll be singing a much different tune when the GOP shuts down the government next year by refusing to raise the debt ceiling in a bid to wave their ideological wang in everyone's face. Of course, you'll be too distracted to notice while you cheer on the 300+ investigations that Issa has already called for in hopes they can scrounge up impeachment material through witchhunts.

"The Republicans need to be reminded and HELD to one point- You campaigned on the economy, so now you OWN it. If unemployment is not reduced to 7% within 18 mo., then you failed."

That's not the litmus test the conservatives are using. It's more like this:

"If we haven't impeached Obama within 18 mo., then we failed."

You know what is funny, I keep hearing people states the people were made because the health care bill did not include the public options. When the health care debate was going on why did we just see the tea patier, I don't remember any Dem's organizing like the Rep's did. I feel the that when the heat is on, the Dem's run and hind. People say Obama did not push hard enogh but maybe if we would have been at some of these townhall meeting like the Rep's were, the press would not have took over...

"How pathetic that you concentrate on the physical appearance of a person before you even know them. "

Why not? Isn't that what the GOP/conservatives/Teatards did with the Muslim Kenyan birther nonsense? CRY MORE...but to someone who cares.

A rising conservative star who just happens to be a female! I think she'll be as successful as the other conservative women who were hoisted into the GOP savior's role (Palin, Angle, O'donnel, Fiorina).

Kristi Noem is a Republican politician and new Congresswoman-Elect in South Dakota's At-large congressional district. Noem graduated from Hamlin High School in 1990 and has taken college courses at Northern State University, Mount Marty College, and South Dakota State University, which she currently attends “PLEASE NOTE STILL IN SCHOOL”??. The scary part is, she operates slightly above the law just have a look at her driving record!. Just take a particular note of two warrants that were issued for Noem's arrest when she failed to pay fines. “According to South Dakota Unified Judicial System records obtained by The Associated Press, Noem has been ticketed for speeding 20 times since 1989, most frequently in cities and counties near her home in Castlewood. She also was ticketed three times for failure to make a proper stop, twice for not having proper license plates, twice for failing to wear a seat belt, once for having no driver's license and once for failing to renew a vehicle registration”. That’s what the tea baggers have offered the Greatest Nation on Earth!!! Substandard career politicians! This brings the next question! Was/is Mayor Michael Bloomberg correct when he said the recent elections have ushered people in the congress who can’t read!!!? Folks remember One quarter of voters in South Dakota affiliates themselves with Tea baggers movement, and 80 percent supported her!. Sad to say that’s the group which is going to make policies to move America forward!! It’s not just Pathetic but also laughable….
