Waters ethics hearing will not be held

Washington (CNN) - A House ethics subcommittee trial originally scheduled for Rep. Maxine Waters, D-California, on November 29 will not be held, according to an ethics committee statement released Friday.

The committee decided to instead return the issue to investigators "due to materials discovered that may have had an effect" on the case, the statement said.

And is it postponed or is this lawbreaker off the hook completely?

What amazes me is when you consider what the democrats have done to California, how could they vote Pelosi, Boxer, and the rest of the socialistic gang back in? Amazing.....or just stupidity. Does any cogent thinking person think she has no contempt for Americans? This woman is a pathological liar and a danger to our country.

That's it? That's all anyone has to say after pre-election slandering of Maxine Waters? No evidence was ever produced – just accusations and insinuation. And this is the non-explanation we get? Pathetic!

  3. Nancy Pelosi, the wicked witch of the west, the DemocRAT gift that just keeps on giving

Why? Has she resigned? No such luck!

I guess the DemocRATS need more time to clear the swamp. With so many snakes in the DemocRATic swamp, I can understand why. Maybe the Congressional Black Caucas threatened them because two of their black members have been called on the carpet for curruption.

Another member of Congress thinking it's more important to work for their own self interest than to work for the people that elected them to that position.Unfortunately, for the American people, they've carved out a district that will always vote them into office no matter what they do and the rest of the country suffers.

  5. Randolph Carter, I'm no expert, but...

Meh, not surprising. They were just going after her for sponsoring legislation that would help poor people. Face it, it's very fashionable these days to hate on the poor. Let's blame them for all of our problems and make ourselves feel better! Have a nice day!

If these documents came from that corrupt, lying fool Waters, I hope somebody checked the ink to make sure it was dry. Did the Ethics Committee accept the CIA did it defense?
