Palin delivers a gaffe-filled message

(CNN) - In a Thanksgiving message, Sarah Palin made fun of the president, herself and one of her favorite targets, the media.

Thursday's Facebook post came on the heels of a mistake she made on conservative Fox News anchor Glenn Beck's radio show earlier this week. She mistakenly referred to America's ally, North Korea instead of South Korea, a story many in the media covered quickly.

"It seems they couldn't resist the temptation to turn a simple one word slip-of-the-tongue of mine into a major political headline," Palin wrote. "The one word slip occurred yesterday during one of my seven back-to-back interviews wherein I was privileged to speak to the American public about the important, world-changing issues before us."

She said her gaffes receive more attention than those made by the president and vice president. In honor of the claimed-disparity she titled the post "A Thanksgiving Message to All 57 States," a reference to a mistake President Obama made on the campaign trail in 2008.

The former Alaska governor dedicated the first paragraph of the post to almost a dozen slips of the tongue by Obama.

"I didn't have enough time to do one for Joe Biden," she wrote.

Palin also chastised the media for creating stories "out of thin air."

"Let's hope that perhaps, just maybe, they might get it right next time. When we the people are effective in holding America's free press accountable for responsible and truthful reporting, then we shall all have even more to be thankful for!"

Anybody can make slip of the tongue. The difference is, Barack Obama and Joe Biden both have IQs higher than a cantaloupe. Sarah Palin can't make that claim. She's a moron, and I'm getting really tired of seeing her face. She needs to go back to Wasilla and go hunting. And stay there.

Perhaps the media should just stop covering Sarah.

The thing is, she should have called herself out immediately, and so should Beck. The fact that it didnt happen shows that both of them are total morons, and that she really had no idea which one, north or south, was our ally until after the interview when someone told her she screwed it up.

One VICIOUS woman. You can not say ANYTHING critical without her attacking. the right-wing media has jumped on every Obama verbal gaffe, and he just moves on and lets it ride without responding. Palin is a like a little child: "I know I did this but YOU/he/she did that." Always the victim, never responsible or able to ignore criticism. Her skin is so thin I don't know how she survives those Alaska winters (though I imagine it is from the backseat of her chauffeured SUV, while she tweets and Facebooks her sophomoric "revenge" messages).

Palin as president would guarantee nuclear war, which would surely start from the newly renamed presidential aircraft, "AIRHEAD ONE."

Get this crazy woman of this planet!

Enough of her shenagians. If she is so uptight about the media, Palin must just quit spewing her hate talk and thinking 'all about me.'
Most Americans do NOT want this woman in our society.

Like FL Barbara Bush said, go back to Alaska!

And no one but me don't see this a being petty??? She is like the HS popular girl that once she is scorn she will come after the other popular kids to bring them down and make sure her spot light is properly shining on her. She attacks Michelle Obama in her quest to challenge kids and this country to do something about the weight issues that are hammering our medical plans, and now instead of taking heat for her mistake and the media not the President makes fun of her, she makes sure to bring up some past gaffes of President Obama!!! What a waste of reporting on this woman

Good grief, the queen of creating stories 'out of thin air' is whining about alleged stories about her?? This just gets more and more hilarious! Add to the fact that no one needs to create stories about her ... she creates enough on her own. Clearly she knows no shame and will continue to embarrass herself, her family, Alaska, and this nation.

I have to admit, although I enjoyed seeing her mistake online the first time, that the media certainly overreacted to her slip. I will give her the benefit of the doubt that it was simply a slip. I think even Palin knows the difference between the 2 Koreas.

So she made a major mistake I mean after all for about 70 years we have all known the difference between North and South Korea ...don't we. And we should forget she doesn't. I guess it depends on who you are. Remember...remember how SHE and he republicans made such a to do over another , AS SHE SAYS, a slip of the tongue. Blumenthal when he gave a speech mention Viet Nam area when he served in the military, in one of those times in the same speech the republican McMahon made a big to do out of the fact that he said he served in Viet Nam. Now that could surely be called a slip of the tongue but SHE and the republicans made a big deal out of it, so now she should be given a pass. Typical republican and typical Palin thoughts. And what with all the black leather, does she think it makes her look POWERFUL. I think it makes her look as if she is a fan of the dark side.

What makes this dim-witted excuse for a human being so angry and what makes her think she is qualified to be President? She wasn't qualified to be Vice President and could most likely never pass a high school history or geography test. Please, someone make her go away.

Wouldn't this woman's just go away if the media would just stop giving her a platform to even spew her nonsense? Just a thought.
