Palin delivers a gaffe-filled message

(CNN) - In a Thanksgiving message, Sarah Palin made fun of the president, herself and one of her favorite targets, the media.

Thursday's Facebook post came on the heels of a mistake she made on conservative Fox News anchor Glenn Beck's radio show earlier this week. She mistakenly referred to America's ally, North Korea instead of South Korea, a story many in the media covered quickly.

"It seems they couldn't resist the temptation to turn a simple one word slip-of-the-tongue of mine into a major political headline," Palin wrote. "The one word slip occurred yesterday during one of my seven back-to-back interviews wherein I was privileged to speak to the American public about the important, world-changing issues before us."

She said her gaffes receive more attention than those made by the president and vice president. In honor of the claimed-disparity she titled the post "A Thanksgiving Message to All 57 States," a reference to a mistake President Obama made on the campaign trail in 2008.

The former Alaska governor dedicated the first paragraph of the post to almost a dozen slips of the tongue by Obama.

"I didn't have enough time to do one for Joe Biden," she wrote.

Palin also chastised the media for creating stories "out of thin air."

"Let's hope that perhaps, just maybe, they might get it right next time. When we the people are effective in holding America's free press accountable for responsible and truthful reporting, then we shall all have even more to be thankful for!"

The media that she is referring to are entertainers. As folks in the US have become so brainwashed by political parties, folks like Beck, Hanity, Oberman, and Maddow have taken advantage of the opportunities to make money. I cannot believe that folks actually believe all the stupid stuff all these folks come up with. The hope for our country rests on folks getting educated and thinking on their own. It is a money and ratings game and the rants are there to make money, niot to actually mean anything.

To all Sarah Palin supporters. Haven't you noticed that all the negative remarks about Palin are coming from the right; Barbara Bush, Karl Rove, Megan McCain etc. I'm not talking about the liberal press here. I'm talking about liberal politicians. They aren't saying anything. They're just sitting back and watching the show. Run Sarah Run...................PLEASE. The establishment Republicans know she can't win, the independents won't vote for a quitter, no matter how cute she is. The Republican party has two problems that I have never seen before.........(PS. I'm no spring chicken)........1) The party is split, 2) they have no main spokesperson. They only have a crowded field of potential losers.

Dear Palin, Not sure if I understand, so it's the media's fault that you're not all that bright. It seems everyone knows that but you!

If Sarah Palin were as forgiving of others mistakes as she demands they be of her, she might have a point. Palin is and always has been the mud slinger in chief. She can hold still when it comes back.

There is no way America will vote for this woman to be president. It was bad enough when George Bush was in there. Will worl leaders take this woman seriously? Remember the uncouth George Bush during one of these world leader summits giving Angela Merkel a shoulder massage, or talking to Tony Blair with food in his mouth. Paling will be there looking like a deer caught in headlights, all conversations will be over her head. come to think of it, SHE IS NOT RUNNING.

I'm sorry to interrupt, Kettle, but I've got Pot on line 1...

Honestly, at least TRY to not complain about things you yourself do all the time, otherwise you come across as petulant.

Also, if you (shudder) actually were to become President of the United States, and called South Korea "North Korea", it WOULD be a major international incident. The people and nation of South Korea would take MAJOR offense, whether you'd like them to or not. If you want to be considered for the highest office in the land, get used to beig held under a microscope by the media, both national and international, AND by the opposing political party, just as your own party does, and try not to whine about it, please. It's demeaning.

there you go again – blasting someone else for your dumb gaffes. but when biden makes his gaffes, at least he makes fun of himself along with the media unlike you who needs to blame it on someone else. you make more gaffes than biden does. if you had not been corrected in your ear you would have mentioned it over and over again. dumb is as dumb gets.

Here is an example of a preschooler whose brain functions are interconnected with her rectal functions causing a severe condition called cranial rectosis. Her Palinglish gets worse and worse. BTW, someone gave me a copy of her book. It does NOT even make good toilet paper. Even that it's irritating. Her fellow morons think this specimen could be president? Oh, Here is a question: What would she do now that the Korea's are at the brink of war? Yell from her back yard (because she can see both from her back yard) to Hey- stop it, right now!!!I
