(CNN) - The whistleblower website WikiLeaks is under cyber attack, but even if it goes down, a new cache of leaked U.S. diplomatic cables will still be published Sunday night, it said via Twitter Sunday.
The announcements come shortly after the United States warned WikiLeaks editor-in-chief Julian Assange that publishing the papers would be illegal and endanger peoples' lives.
I cannot believe our goverment cannot find a way to stop this; there is no excuse for something like this. If Obama would worry about something other than taking a mini vacation or playing basketball he could and should do something about this.
Just goes to show that ‘The Powers That Be' has the power to censor and stop whatever they want!
But, they can’t stop ‘child abuse’, women/men abuse, gang related crimes, hunger, homelessness, inflation, etc?
I guess it’s all about ‘not being embarrassed’! (?)
Maybe it’s all about ‘priorities’, I don’t know.
But this I do know, not all great minds think alike!
Because if they did they’d find a solution to some of the circumstances mentioned above, instead of trying to hide their derogatory remarks made against other leaders.
I know it’s not just about ‘sensitive information’, it’s about ‘hush my mouth’!
Assange is little more than a menace, and his actions and of all those at 'wikileaks' is reprehensible. The United States should prosecute any news organization within the country found to possess the documents; because the unauthorized possession of them is an outright crime.
Why are we so afraid of the truth? Is it because it hurts!
