What's next for Clinton?

(CNN) - Hillary Clinton is adamant that she's not running for president in 2012, but she's now saying that being secretary of state will be her last job in government.

"I think I'll serve as secretary of state as my last public position," Clinton said Friday at an event in Bahrain. "Then (I'll) probably go back to advocacy work, particularly on behalf of women and children, and particularly around the world."

At the event with local college students, she again said she will not launch a challenge to President Barack Obama, but the comments mark the first time she's elaborated on her plans for the future.

The former first lady and New York senator, faced off with Obama for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2008 before becoming his chief diplomat.

Even more so now in the midst of the wiki fallout, the Secretary of State continues to do an impressive job repairing the image of the United States abroad which was near irreversibly damaged by Bush, Cheney and the brownshirt Republicans.

Oh Diana what a kool aid drinker. LOL. You believe that 40 year old class warfare bs that the democrat liberal party has so much experience in spreading. Then there is the libertard that says"lets keep moving America forward with with our current leader, President Obama....." LMAO. This libertard thinks that wasting more money to on programs that did not work 40 years ago is moving forward? Is it any wonder why libs lost so bad in 2010, they are stuck in the 60's.

Let us all hope and pray that after the Clinton Bush era of destruction of America Hillary does retire to Afghanistan or some other third world Nation that she and her liberal progressive cohorts have tried to bring to the USA! Hmmmm China Trade agreement and NAFTA evolution from an Ag bill to a bill that would encompass everything at the cost of American jobs, why who is to blame?

I hate to burst your bubble, but your one buck away from being a third world country. To add.. your ignorance about China is astonishing. They already own half of your country. If they called in their debt, you would be speaking Chinese. And you obviously know nothing about NAFTA either. Americans aren`t the only ones losing jobs over it. Let me guess..you thought `trickle down economics`worked.

To those stupid Democrats who didn't support Hillary in the primaries.. are you still daring to have opinions?

Of course she does a great job as Secretary of State. Do you remember who said her foreign experience was drinking tea with diplomats and the wives of foreign leaders? who was that idiot? Apparently she is more capable than that or, maybe she makes good use of that tea drinking.

I hope she will challenge Obama because otherwise many, many Dems and Independents will vote a Republican president (please Republicans, just make sure it's not Palin).

  5. a little sad

From 1992 through 2009, Hilary Clinton has been the most admired woman in the world 16 or 17 times, dropping to second only once or twice. I expect she will also gather that homor for 2010.

Smart, gracious and accomplished, she can do whatever she likes.

So I guess what she is saying is, since she will only be an advocate for women and children, essentially to hell with the men.

If you notice, it's mostly the men making nasty remarks. They can't do a decent job at anything so they have to take pot shots at the one political figure we have who is doing an EXCELLENT job as Secretary of State,.Hang in there Mrs. Clinton , do what is best for yourself in the future. You'd make a great president but I'd hate to see you get chewed up by the losers in Washington....Thank you for your service to our country!!!!!
