Rocker strikes different note to help Obama

WASHINGTON (CNN) – Musician Jon Bon Jovi has rocked the house with hits like “Keep the Faith" and “I Believe,” and now that same sense of optimism belted out in lyrics is being tapped by President Obama to help solve community needs across the country.

Bon Jovi joins a long list of big names, including eBay President and CEO John Donahoe and Starbucks Executive VP Paula Boggs, on the president’s newly formed White House Council for Community Solutions.

Another program for giving money to people who will soon be forgotten until the next handout. Solve the problem?

Oh yes, celebrities can fix any problem just by talking about it. Of course, morons will soak this up and believe everthing the celebrity-in-chief spews at them....

Someone needs to get the youth of this country on its feet. I am lucky to have a daughter that wants to join the Peace Corp after college. By the way....get all those"nobody is right but ME" Christians out there. The could help instead of protest at funerals of fallen loved ones. What is wrong with this country. We have become a very selfish nation. I am about ready to get out...

  6. Limbaugh is a liberal

I am sure republicans will be making fun of rock stars, hollywood celebrities, etc. saying how elite and out-of-touch they are... While overlooking the fact that their own messiah president was himself an overhyped hollywood celebrity, also completely out-of-touch not just with America, but with reality.
