(CNN) - Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is predicting the demise of the Tea Party movement.
"The Tea Party was born because of the economy," Reid said in an interview on NBC's "Meet the Press" set to air Sunday. "The economy is probably the worst it's ever been except for maybe the great depression. The Tea Party will disappear as soon as the economy gets better and the economy's getting better all the time."
The Nevada Democrat narrowly won reelection in November against Sharron Angle, a Tea Party-backed Republican candidate.
It's doubtful. Once idiots are agitated, they almost never calm down.
Oh Harry, you are so desperate for attention you'll spew anything to get some face time.
Maybe it is getting better for Reid.......but here's a news flash for Reid......it isn't getting better for most people. It is still getting worse. Fool.
is that the reason they were slaughtered in nov?...lol harry will never get it, the economy had little to do with the shlacking they received, just crazy liberal agendas...wait until 2012 and see what happens to the dems then....and repubs also.....rino will go too
Does this fellow has to speak? He is just instigating the morons!
The question is, "Does anyone really care?"
Reid can say anything he wants, but the truth is that he is afraid of the Tea Party. It will not go away until the Obama Healthcare is removed. Including a new President to take over at the next election. As a member of the Tea Party I will dedicate myself to see that we have a new president. This Hispanic is very grateful for what my country has done for me and I will serve my country and push for the rights and freedom of the people.
That's just petty. Senate Dems need a new leader.
Where are they now. Why aren't they going crazy about death panel now, the one happening now in Arizona. That is really the death panel. When are they. They should be call the The TEA(KKK) Party.
In his dreams they will demise. I would rather see Reid's political time as senate majority leader demise. The country would be better off if it did.
