Giffords critical, but condition stabilized

(CNN)– Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords remains in critical condition but her condition has stabilized, doctors at Tucson's University Medical Center indicated Monday.

"We're not out of the woods yet" but are optimistic about her prospects of recovery, said Dr. Michael Lemole, chief of neurosurgery.

I pray for her speedy recovery. As far as Sarah Palin goes, she should take responsibility for this. Rep. Gifford referenced Sarah Palin's "Crosshair" map to inciting violence. And lo and behold, VOILA!!! Hate speech should be treated as a hate crime. There needs to be an amendment to the First Amendment.

What wonderful news to receive today. Now if we could leave out any comments or twits(sic) or facebook rantings of those who incited the hate and their lies about good wishes for Ms. Gifford and the other victims then we could try to heal from this horrible tragedy.
