Limbaugh says Dems playing politics with Giffords shooting

Washington (CNN) - Conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh offered a vigorous defense of himself and Sarah Palin Monday in response to claims from some media commentators and those on the left that their charged statements and colorful language may have inspired the Arizona shootings.

"[The media] is unnecessarily stirring up the country in ways that don't merit," Limbaugh said on his radio program Monday. "It's fatuous and silly to even verify and justify these accusations by defending them. The premise is insane, it's silly, it's beneath these people. Or is it? It is who they are."

Limbaugh's comments come in response to accusations that the charged political atmosphere of 2010 – of which Limbaugh, Palin, and others played a central role – may have incited the use of violence among troubled individuals like Jared Lee Loughner, the suspect that is accused of opening fire outside a Tucson supermarket, where Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was meeting with constituents Saturday.

"We are we constantly admonished not to rush to conclusions. Now…reporters are bending over backwards to link this shooting to me, to Sarah Palin, to an entire industry - talk radio," Limbaugh said. "Only in these instances is something said in the media said to influence public behavior. Go out and try to tell these same people that one of their top grossing movies has influenced has influenced abject perversion or radical behavior and they will attack you left and right.

"All of this has been pure politics, disguised as compassion and concern for a congresswoman," Limbaugh added.

No, his comments never incite others! Hogwash!! This man's mouth is nothing but inflammatory remarks. Of course he, Palin,Beck etc are not going to own up to what their inflammatory rhetoric does, that would stop the money flow for alll of them, and it's about money for all of them. Many Americans have all along thought that some of the rhetoric out there was going to end disastrous, it was only a matter of time. Now, there are some who have the guts to tell the truth. I for one want this to end and if it means taking these pundits off the air, then so be it.

Sarah Palin’s call to arms, “Don’t Retreat, Reload” finally results in a tragic shooting of an Arizona Congresswoman.

Sarah Palin has been criticizing President Obama and others and saying "man up." Then she gets an opportunity to "man up," to her over the top metaphors like bullseye, reload, etc., and can't handle the heat. She's certainly not responsible for this deranged man's actions, but she and people like Rush Limbaugh love to stoke the fire with inflammatory remarks about anyone who disagrees with them refusing to give people the common courtesy, including the president, of respect. Two blowhearts.

One must wonder how Limbaugh can close his eyes at night with all the damage his rhetoric has done to public discourse in this country. It must be the drugs that help him sleep at night.

"Me-thinks thou doth protest too much."

And another sign that Rush is just as crazy as Loughner. When he should be saying "Whoa, maybe the hate fueled, anger filled, and outrageous statements made by me might have had an influence on this character", instead he is saying "Don't blame me, that is unfair and I had nothing to do with it." He continues to maintain his divisive nature. He is a lunatic.

So what? Who cares what Limbaugh thinks? Considering that this fascist idiot wrote the book on "playing politics," his reactions are quite amusing when the shoe is on the other foot. He's the typical "do as I say, not as I do" conservative – all mouth and no brains.

In this instance Rush Limbaugh is exactly correct. The more information that comes out about Jared the twisted and confused mass murderer, the clearer it is that this crime was a result of mental illness rather than partisan politics, Sarah Palin, ObamaCare or anything else that actually exists in the real world. In fact, it was reported that Jared the twisted and confused mass murderer also hated the previous administration. He was neither pro-Republican or a Democrat. He was sick.

But the far left liberals do not let a little thing like the truth get in the way of Sarah bashing. That's why their rants are so easy to tune out. They mean nothing.

A little friendly advise Mr. Limbaugh – When you drop seeds in a fertile soil, you are responsible for what grows. When you cultivate the soil, water it, then fail to pull weeds, you are indeed at fault when weeds grow. You reap what you sow – words have consequences, actions have consequences. The words and actions from the right/Tea Party, that advocated violence (like 2nd Amendment options), have had a direct impact on this country, its political landscape, and our people. Now you claim you are not at fault? I’m sorry, but you are…you can’t yell “Fire” in a crowded theatre and then say it’s not your fault when some nut tramples a person to death trying get out of the building.

  23. If You Want To See The "Real Haters"

Way to go Rush......these Liberal Nut Cases actually "believe" they are in the majority but the truth is that the majority of Americans believe in more of what Rush and Conservatives stand for than all Liberal Progressives! All Libs want is to control people through; big government, cradle to grave entitlements, and just "feel good" thoughts.
All you on the Left who are rushing to judgement on the cause behind the AZ shootings are about to be forced to eat some very tough "Crow", when it is revealed that this nut case was in truth a Left wing liberal and his hatred to Gabby Giffords was steeled by her leaning to the right!

Rush limbaugh is trying to defend himself, but the truth is always the truth whether he likes it or not, the type of accusations about taking our goverment, reload, the right has all these inciteful colorful words which stirs emotion, death panel etc... the truth is the truth. Rush you cannot deny these. If you have conscience and has emotions put yourself in the shoes of these families that died and make a change, it starts with the message which you give to your listeners. I will too be angry if someone that i trust is telling me that the government is taking away all my rights etc all these radio talk show personalities both on the left and the right beware and tone down the rhetoric .
