Limbaugh says Dems playing politics with Giffords shooting
Washington (CNN) - Conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh offered a vigorous defense of himself and Sarah Palin Monday in response to claims from some media commentators and those on the left that their charged statements and colorful language may have inspired the Arizona shootings.
"[The media] is unnecessarily stirring up the country in ways that don't merit," Limbaugh said on his radio program Monday. "It's fatuous and silly to even verify and justify these accusations by defending them. The premise is insane, it's silly, it's beneath these people. Or is it? It is who they are."
Limbaugh's comments come in response to accusations that the charged political atmosphere of 2010 – of which Limbaugh, Palin, and others played a central role – may have incited the use of violence among troubled individuals like Jared Lee Loughner, the suspect that is accused of opening fire outside a Tucson supermarket, where Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was meeting with constituents Saturday.
"We are we constantly admonished not to rush to conclusions. Now…reporters are bending over backwards to link this shooting to me, to Sarah Palin, to an entire industry - talk radio," Limbaugh said. "Only in these instances is something said in the media said to influence public behavior. Go out and try to tell these same people that one of their top grossing movies has influenced has influenced abject perversion or radical behavior and they will attack you left and right.
"All of this has been pure politics, disguised as compassion and concern for a congresswoman," Limbaugh added.

Limbaugh had no problem at all inciting violence. Now when he and Palin get called downed on it, it's everyone else who is being inciting. Hypocrite.
Self-righteousness never feels accountability, admits guilt or sympathizes with or helps others in their time of need. It's unchristian in every way.

It's worth noting that no Democrat has actually done this at all. The only people right now who are criticising the right wing are the victims and law enforcement officials in Tuscon. Clearly they must all be politically motivated, right Rush?
This tragedy is two-fold. The incident itself and the lack of law enforcement resources in preventing this from occuring. This alleged murderer was not a iilegal alien, yet Arizona law enforcement can profile innocent people and not spend the time and day to study these cases. We must find a way as Americans find a way to protect our borders while not forgetting the nut cases that exist from within..

I read Laughner interacted with Giffords in 2007 and didn't like her answer to his question in 2007 and had already made threats to Giffords in the past so then why would Palin, Limbaugh, CNN, MSNBC, Fox, radio take the blame for this murder's actions?

Mostly EVERY assassination and/or assassination attempt in America happened during a time of chaos or around some period of time when JUSTICE was not for all!! It's WORSE now because it's being saturated in the 24/7 news cycle – the internet – Facebook – Twitter, etc. It’s worst now because we have an African American president and not everyone in America wants to settle with that – a known FACT!!

I find it utterly convenient that shortly after the shootings, the media quickly started pointing fingers at Sarah Palin and the TEA Party and trying to make a connection to conservatives while shaping their narrative that all of these 'angry white males' are to blame for this. Never mind that the alleged shooter was targeting Rep. Gabrielle Giffords since back in '07, way before Paling came on the scene.Now that we know the shooter is a big liberal, the narrative has changed. Now the media is telling us all to tone down the heated rhetoric coming from both sides and how we shouldn't point fingers. How convenient! Yes, Rush Limbaugh is right. Movies have had a very negative impact on kids and people with low level of thinking. What he forgets to say is. His negative words have had great impact on people with twisted minds. Limbaugh's, Palin, Becks' and Hannity's words have been bad for this country. He doesn't have to apologize to anybodyt, but he truly needs to stop talking nonsense. He would do the nation a big favor. The seeds he and his crew planted are starting to grow. This is scary.
