Illinois Supreme Court hands Emanuel initial victory
(CNN) - The Illinois Supreme Court has granted a stay on Monday's appeals court ruling that held Rahm Emanuel was ineligible to be a Chicago mayoral candidate, and ordered that any ballots printed include his name while the case is pending.

Good! He is the only candidate most people in Chicago want,and this is but a lot of political nonsense.We cannot expect people to serve.and tear up their lives,if we are going to treat them like this,when they return home!
What shock. I am sure his friend and former employer had nothing to do with this ruling. He did notlive in Ill for the whole year. We know where he lived, case closed.
Excellent! I love this stuff...........did Braun & others think Emanuel couldn't pull a trick out of his hat right back on them? He was in the White House for goodness sake! He has connections to a "higher authority" (as well as the right to appeal of course...)
Of course. Anything they can do to guarantee a liberal victory. Why can't the court follow the law and not vote in favor in favor of their party preferences?
Yeah, he dont follow the rules, so he cries and gets his buddies in the court to allow him to run. Great, more corruption from the Obama administration!

Too bad citizens of Chicago. Thought the courts were about to protect you from yourselves. You seem to lack the good judgment to stop electing thugs and criminals to lead your city.
So where are all those people from yesterday that were cheering and badmouthing Rahm?
Anyone who wants to be mayor that bad has got to have something really wrong about them.
