Palin on Obama's speech: WTF?

(CNN) – Sarah Palin has a response to President Obama's State of the Union address: "WTF?!"

Making light of the acronym for the new White House initiative "Winning the Future," which inconveniently shares the same as that of "What the (blank)," Palin told Fox News Wednesday the president's speech was riddled with "a lot of WTF moments."

"His theme last night was WTF, winning the future," Palin also said. "I thought, okay, that acronym – spot on."

Specifically, Palin said it was a "WTF moment" when the president derided an increase to the federal deficit.

When he made the statement ..that he believed that we can't allow ourselves to, I guess, eventually become buried under a mountain of debt. That right there tells you he is so disconnected from reality! The problem is, we are buried under a mountain of debt, and jobs cannot be created by the private sector," she said. Palin also expounded on her comments in Facebook post Thursday morning.

And when it comes to the president's declaration that America has reached another so-called "Sputnik moment," Palin said, "That was another WTF moment, when he so often repeated this Sputnik moment that he would aspire Americans to celebrate."

Palin isn't the first to comment on the unfortunate acronym for the Winning the Future initiative. Almost immediately after the president announced it Tuesday, "WTF" quickly buzzed around Twitter.

Thank you Sarah for showing us your intelligent side. It's always nice to know that we have you to fall back on when others may falter.

I for one enjoyed the speech and it was a great affirmation of how wonderful it is to have an intelligent, well educated visionary leading our country. I am sure her major problem with the speech is that she was watching it from her couch and not from a seat behind the POTUS. However, if McCain had won the election the SOTUA would have been about why we need to raise taxes to pay for our new wars of choice in Iran and N. Korea.

Once again, Sarah Palin tries to lower the level of serious discourse about the future of your country. Her clumsy and foul-mouthed attempts to diminish Barack Obama reveal the emptiness of her mind and nastiness of her personality. By the way, for a woman who can see Russia from Alaska, she might want to brush up on the real reason the Soviet Union collapsed. It had nothing to do with Sputnik.

This woman is a stupid moron. If she thinks her actions are cute or show how smart she is, she is totally wrong.
She is the laughing stock of the country.

Not only were Palin's "WTF" statements juvenile, her comments about Sputnick bankrupting the USSR were boldly historically inaccurate.

Who in the world cares what this dimwit has to say about ANYTHING? Leave it to Her,to bring THAT up.and make a story out of it! Shows what kind of nonsense her brain thinks of. She continues to be a very uneducated and low class person. I know she makes $ but people REALLY DONT NEED to hear much about her at all. This country has enough problems, without continuing to give this type of person any more chances to confuse people who may not be able to sort out real from unreal.I do hope CNN will get more responsible and STOP helping these people who will take America down, given the chance! Lets MOVE ON and help rebuild this Nation~surely most have children that that do not want to be right in the middle of a bloody battle, that could well be the intentions of these types.

The Alaskan Air Head is the last person to criticize anyone. The sore loser from the north doesn't know the difference between one letter or another. Someone must have told her what to blurt out.

Twisting the noble words "winning the future" into the crass WTF seems to follow Palin's agenda of disrespect and denigration of anything that doesn't follow her agenda. She is unable to understand that she only lowers her standing among decent people whe she resorts to such snarky tactics. it must certainly gall her to be overshadowed by Michelle Bachman. We can only hope that The lies put out by Bachman will render her irrelevant, too.

WTF is exactly right when I see this dumb bimbo's comments on a news site. CNN, can't you just put her in iReporter section? She is much lower than a 5th grader in IQ.

Why this woman keeps getting media exposure escapes me. She failed as a Vice Presidential candidate, she failed (quit) her job as Governor of AK, and most of the time when she speaks I have a WTF moment. She is a self-important nobody whose opinion usually become fodder for late-night TV. Please let her fade back into the Great White North......

I wish she would just go away. She is a joke on the political front. If she is what people in this country feel is the consciousness of the majority then we are in trouble.

A taste of gladness comes when I realize how clear it is that Ms. Palin, foaming at the mouth, has no other recourse but to bring herself to that level of discourse. Whose philosophy political or otherwise does she represent again?
